Loot Crate DX is a deluxe monthly subscription box from Loot Crate. It’s themed with the regular Loot Crate theme, except it contains premium next level loot for discerning geeks! It’s like a special edition box from Loot Crate – every month!

The box comes with a tri-fold booklet with information about Loot Crate’s community features on the back. Check out the theme experience hub here.

The theme of the month is BUILD.

The information card gives you a list of all the items in the box. It’s super sturdy and some parts are highlighted with a nice gloss.

All the Loot Crate DX goodies this month!

February 2017 Megazord Blueprint Pin

Initiate Megazord sequence! Megazord Battle Mode! This great big honking pin is rad! The Loot Crate classic box also had a smaller Megazord – but this one’s in a schematic style.

Bonus! Batman Loot Wear Socks

Everyone got a bonus pair of Loot Wear socks in their box – you could have received one of a zillion pairs. We were pumped with the Dark Knight.

Tetris Ceramic Salt and Pepper Shakers: I love adding geekery to my house and these are SUPER fun!

The shakers nest together so you can store them neatly!  This is like the original building video game!

Robotech Veritech Fighter Figure ($47.95) This color variation is exclusive to DX.

It’s a fun mecha with 3 modes: battloid, guardian, and fighter.

This is how he looks right out of the box.

With 30 points of articulation he’s capable of seriously smooth moves.

I got a little lost after that, but my 8 year old daughter saved the day and created all the modes.

We had tons of fun with this and we’re still playing with it!

Fantastic Beasts And Where To Find Them Incredibuild Swooping Evil Book & Model Set ($15.65) This was a spoiler item!

This laser-cut wood model makes Swooping Evil!

There’s a book that comes with the set that describes all the Magizoology in Fantastic Beasts!

I am still waiting for my kids to slog through all the Harry Potter books, so we haven’t seen the film yet. I can’t wait!

After your done with your build you can decorate it and enter the DX contest. We’re planning to do this with my daughter after our big trip to the Wizarding World!

We thought this beast was fantastic!

I’m betting that he’ll be pink glittered soon enough.

Game of Thrones McFarlane Iron Throne Room Construction Set ($18)

The item we were most excited for – always the Game of Thrones item!

Yes, 314 pieces.

There are even more add-ons you can pick up to go with your scene!

You can’t really see the LEGO-compatible bricks, but they’re in there. This buildable Iron Throne Room scene is perfect for us, and we have had so much fun with it.

Look at the detail on the “stones”!

The Kingsguard!

And Joffrey and the throne!

There’s so much detail in this set!

Easily the most hours of fun out of any Loot Crate box, ever! We loved this month of DX because we got geeky activities and keepable finished projects. Of course we had wished for an actual LEGO set but having the Game of Thrones set made up for it. I can’t wait to see how the decorating the Swooping Evil build turns out.
