Ipsy is a monthly beauty subscription – get five makeup, beauty, skincare, and haircare items in a cute bag for $10 a month! It’s the most popular subscription box and a great way to sample new colors and beauty brands.

The bag this month! Such a cute, functional design with lots of room for storing long items, like brushes.

Everything in my pouch!

There are many bag variations every month for ipsy –  log in to your account to check out how-to videos and tips for your products. They’ve also started emailing out product information and tips from their influencers!

Elizabeth Mott Blending Brush ($15) I love getting brushes in my ipsy bag! This one is nice and fluffy and blends easily.

It’s made with cruelty-free and vegan synthetic fibers, too!

Neogen Coconut Milk Pure Mild Cleanser ($2.58) This cleanser is formulated from coconut oil and coconut extracts and designed to be creamy and hydrating, but I found that it irritated my face – use caution!

Marc Anthony True Professional Deep Repair Aloe Vera & Jasmine Oil Conditioning Treatment ($2.99) Time to refresh my ipsy preferences and do some ratings – I have fine, thin hair so this product isn’t perfect for me, although I did try it out and it moisturized without weighing my hair down overly much – but adding styling products was too much.

Eyeko Fat Brow Liquid Liner in Light to Medium ($22) This was an absolute first for me.

It’s a big fat eyebrow marker! I received it in the proper color for me – light to medium. I felt super weird using it, but I loved that it wasn’t messy and it seemed to give good results. With a retail price of $22 I hope it lasts a good long while.

Swatches for the brow marker (I played around with it on my wrist first) and for the lip paint, below.

tarte cosmetics tarteist dry matte lip paint in vibin’ ($3.33) This is such a pretty color with excellent staying power! Tarteist is a matte liquid lipstick but not super duper matte. The color lasted a good while through normal activities too.

My bag had about a $46 retail value this month, which was great. I’m super happy with the brush, eyebrow marker, and tarte! Even when a few products don’t work for me, the value they pack in always amazes me! Let me know if you’ve tried the brow pen and what you thought! I think it’s one of the weirdest beauty products ever, but I really like it!

What did you get in your Ipsy this month?

I got the Tarte lip paint but in a different shade, I got it in the colour Delish and I also got the Elizabeth Mott brush as well!! The rest of my bag was a hair primer by Eva NYC, a black eyeliner by Modelco & an eyeshadow by Doucce!! I really loved my bag this month except I wish the eyeshadow had been just a tad bigger, it was so tiny but in such a warm rich colour!! And I also didn’t like getting another black liner since that’s all they seem to send me & I got one just last month!! Really wish we’d see more coloured eyeliners but overall my bag was superb!! I really enjoy receiving Ipsy!!

I received the same Tarte shade and Elizabeth Mott blending brush, and they are my favorite items along with the bag! I got a really pretty INT gold shadow that makes a good lid topper, Curl Keeper, and ModelCo black eyeliner. The liner had a white waxy coating on it, but worked fine.
