iBbeautiful is a subscription box for teen and tween girls with inspiring accessory and beauty products, plus a positive message! iBbeautiful wants to help girls be confident, smart, brave, unique, and kind. You can choose either tween (8-12 years old) or teen (13+). You also can choose between a basic box (no tee) for $20/month or a graphic tee box for $30/month.
This is a review of the Tween graphic tee box for March. I reviewed it with the help of my favorite tween, my younger daughter who is 12 years old.
One neat feature of iBbeautiful is that there is a gorgeous placard pasted into the lid of each box. The placard highlights the theme of the box and really sets the stage for the goodies. Additionally, each box has an information postcard that is pretty enough to frame. This month’s card, with the message “Do More of What Makes Your Soul Happy,” is so colorful and cute.
Here’s a look at everything in this month’s box. As usual, with so many fun, colorful, and shiny things, my camera can’t figure out where to focus. That’s OK, because that’s pretty much how my daughter also approaches these boxes – she has no idea what to look at first!!!
The back of the information card provides more information about living the theme… and how to “choose happy.” I love iBbeautiful’s messages – they are spot on for girls in the target age range, but they are also presented in a way not to turn the girls off.
T-shirt: As I mentioned above, you can either get a basic (no t-shirt) subscription or a graphic tee subscription. This is the shirt that was in the March graphic tee subscription box. The blue color is so cute and the message is awesome.
Here is my daughter modeling the shirt. It’s super cute, with a feminine cut. She’s paired it with the coordinating flower necklace, also from this box.
Necklace & Teensy Tote Bag: Inside this totally adorable tote bag (which is also super teensy) was the blue tulle bag… and inside that bag was this cute daisy chain necklace. See the photo of my daughter above to see the necklace in action. The tote and the necklace are a few of her favorite things from this month’s box.
Mini Wet Wipes: These jasmine scented wet wipes are so perfect for active girls. My daughter will tuck this into her sports bag for a quick clean up between practice and dinner. (Anyone who thinks tween girls don’t sweat does not have a tween girl in their house!) The little pouch of wipes is also just the right size to store in a gym locker or backpack.
Plastic Friendship Bracelets: What rocks a tween’s world more than friendship bracelets? Not much. And these are super fun… rainbow, neon, BFF, peace signs, and hearts – everything that tween girls love. These are also fun because they come in pairs – to share with your BFF, obviously. Twinning!
Lollibands: OK, this item just made my daughter and I laugh, or maybe LOL. This funny little lollipop is actually 24 ponytail holders. Cute! And what tween (at least those with long hair) can’t use a few more ponytail holders. We can’t ever have enough in our house!
Elephant Stickers: These stickers are so pretty and they also spread the month’s message about being happy. And, at least in my house, tweens love stickers. (And elephants, but that could just be my house…)
Message Card: Last, but not least, iBbeautiful included this fun little card. It’s sized like a credit card, so it fits perfectly into a wallet or purse. My daughter doesn’t carry a wallet or purse regularly yet, but I can see this being a great little reminder through the day.
iBbeautiful is a great box for tweens and teens. The messages are spot on for what girls today need to hear and iBbeautiful does a great job presenting the message and incorporating the theme throughout the box. Plus all the items are fun, usable, and age appropriate – not too grown-up but also not too babyish. My girls love iBbeautiful!
