Daily Goodie Box is a box of free samples sent to you at absolutely no charge in exchange for your honest opinion of the products that you receive. That’s right, everything is 100% free, no shipping charges and no credit card is required.

Each box contains a combination of full and sample size products for you to try out. To be registered to receive a Daily Goodie Box, you simply go their site and answer a few questions about yourself. Whether or not you receive a box or not is based on several factors including the demographics that the product manufacturer is looking for among other things. So, go to Daily Goodie Box, register and cross your fingers.

Once you receive your box you simply log on and let them know what you thought of the products. Free stuff for your opinion. Who doesn’t like free?

Aloha Daily Good Greens Chocolate Blend ($3) – “Get organic superfoods, naturally-occurring vitamin D, and a full serving of fruits and vegetables — all in one convenient on-the-go pouch!”

For all you health nuts (no offense) out there, this has a ton of good-for-you stuff in it. A sampling of the healthy ingredients include spirulina, beets, peas, mushrooms, spinach and wheat grass among other good for you things. I tried putting it in my coffee and it was a no-go, the flavor was too “green”, but I think it might have been better sprinkled dry on top of oatmeal or cream of wheat. I do like that it is a natural way to load up on the vitamins and nutrients that your body needs.

They also included a coupon for 20% off of your next purchase from Aloha.

Xylichew ($2.19) spearmint gum was in our box. It contains no sugar and no artificial sweeteners. Instead, they use Birch Xylitol which is actually good for you. “We sweeten Xylichew with Birch Xylitol extracted from sustainable US forests. Xylitol helps slow the rate and amount of acid producing bacteria that erode tooth enamel. Imagine that, a natural sweetener that tastes great and does not promote tooth decay.”

The flavor of the gum was great with no “off” taste that you sometimes get. And, the mintyness is strong enough to feel like your breath is fresher, but not so strong that you feel like you have freeze ray breath.

Vermont Smoke and Cure Cracked Pepper Beef and Pork Stick ($.83)  – “Just a bit of peppery kick.  Crafted with lean humanly raised beef and pork, cracked pepper and a classic mix of spices for nourishing real meat protein.”

My teenager’s analysis – Good flavor, softer than beef jerky. It reminds him of venison summer sausage.

This delicious Trail mix from Gorilly Goods ($2.19) was in the box. Gorilly Goods are made with all organic ingredients. The Trail mix includes cashews, pecans, almonds, raisins, coconut, cacao nibs, goji berries, pineapple and sea salt. It was a nice blend of sweet in the dried fruit and slightly salty nuts. I appreciate that there are no peanuts! And the package is a great grab and go size.

They even included a shareable coupon code for purchasing from the Gorilly Goods site. Use coupon code goodiebox to save 25% off of your online order!

Jack N’ Jill Natural Calendula Toothpaste in Blackcurrent flavor ($6.99). This toothpaste, like the gum contains the natural sweetener and acid fighter, xylitol. It is also fluoride free, SLS free and contains no colours or preservatives. Two of my girls tried it out and approved, which is a miracle because 9 out of 10 toothpastes are too “spicy” for their overly sensitive pallets. They said it tasted like berries and was yummy.

So, I just plopped this into some hot water and it was delicious. Coffee Blocks Better Butter Coffee ($3) is everything you need (plus a little hot water) for a cup of hot buttery coffee. This is Coffee Block’s version of “bullet proof” coffee. The ingredients are simple, organic coconut oil, butter (from grass-fed cows), instant coffee, organic egg yolks and organic vanilla. The combination makes for a rich, buttery, slightly coconuty cup of coffee that will satisfy. There was no instant coffee aftertaste and no residue at the bottom of the cup. I was surprised and pleased at how good this grab and go coffee was!

Nature’s Bakery Stone-ground Whole Wheat Raspberry Fig Bar ($.82)  These have a bunch of good stuff in them and none of the bad stuff (to simplify it for you).  And, as an added bonus, they are yummy!

This splendiferious stuff was in the box!  Nellie’s All-Natural Laundry Soda and Wow Stick stain remover.  There is a whole list of no-no’s that this stuff does not contain. Check it out here. One tablespoon of the washing soda will do a regular size load of laundry. That makes for a great space saver for grabbing to take to the laundry mat or on vacation (cause someone still has to do the laundry!). And, the stain stick worked wonders. Someone left a pen in their pant’s pocket and I washed it with my brand new curtains. I won’t name any names, but my husband is in the dog house. I rubbed this stuff all over the ink spots on the curtains and the ink is nearly all gone. I’m going to run it through the wash one more time, but the spots are so faded already that I am confident it will all come out. I didn’t think anything would get ink out like that! I’m impressed.

This can of Just Chill Tropical Sparkling Calming Beverage ($2.17) was in our box.

“Just Chill Beverages are powered by a unique amino acid called SunTheanine. SunTheanine is a “nootropic” or functional supplement that enhances cognitive function. What makes SunTheanine so unique? SunTheanine is the only clinically studied and patented form of L-theanine you can get your hands on. L-Theanine, a unique amino acid found in green tea, has been shown to help improve performance by reducing stress and increasing focus without causing drowsiness. One can of Just Chill has 15X the amount of L-Theanine found in a single cup of green tea. Sound like a game changer? It is.”

This had a clean refreshing taste that was light and enjoyable. And, at only 70 calories a can you don’t have to beat yourself up about it. I’m not sure I felt an increase in cognitive function, but it’s possible.

Daily Goodie Box is a great way to try out new products and then share your opinion of those products.  The registration process was easy and the product review process was even easier. I love that you don’t have to pay for shipping or give any payment information at all and they send you some pretty fabulous products to try for free.  So, go, register! Good luck!

Oh wow. I totally messed that up didn’t I? Sorry. I must have deleted it by accident….. I will see if it can be fixed. Thanks for bringing it to my attention. And, honestly I didn’t try it because I sleep really well and wouldn’t be a very good judge if it would help someone. But, other people’s reviews sound very promising.
