Inside the insulated packing, our yummies were even more securely packaged in round plastic containers that sat inside a cardboard stand with holes cut out to hold them in place. It really made for a nice display when you opened the box.
Each Candy Club Subscription Box contains up to 3 lbs of candy to include three signature containers and a splash of wrapped candies. If you are giving a gift, the candies are curated for you. If you are subscribing you have some choice in the candies that you get. You pick your own candies or you can choose a flavor profile for Candy Club to curate for you. The three flavor profiles are Club Sours, Club Sweets, and Club Mix. If you aren’t sure what you like, no worries, they have a quiz that helps figure your candy profile out.

Albanese Milk Chocolate Cashews – “Characteristic cashew crunch gets the chocolate treatment in these deliciously rich morsels. “You’ll go nuts for their silky smooth coating and toasty-sweet flavor!”
I chose to pick my own candy for this month’s Candy Club subscription and I picked these chocolate covered cashews as a test to see how chocolate would hold up through shipping (and because chocolate cashews are delicious). It has been in the 80’s nearly every afternoon here (some body forgot to tell Georgia that it was February) and these came through with flying colors. They weren’t melted at all and had none of that discoloration that chocolate can sometimes get when it gets hot and then cools back down. They were perfect. Just crunchy, slightly salty cashews covered in silky milk chocolate.
Vidal Jelly Filled Twist Cones – “Fresh strawberry flavor in a unique, jelly cone shape. This candy is soft, fruity, and delicious. Imported from Spain.”
Yummy. These were one of the candies suggested by Candy Club for this month. They chose well. Each gummy is soft and creamy with a jelly filling in the red end. The colors look so much like a watermelon. I think they would have been great in a watermelon flavor too!
Gerrit’s Gummy Pink Cadillacs – “Super chewy, natural mixed fruit flavored gummies will take you on a sweet ride back to the nifty fifties. Flavor notes of cherry, currant and strawberry. Made in Holland.
I couldn’t help but pick these. How fun are pink Cadillac gummies??!! These were nice firm gummies with great flavors. The more purple colored ones were my favorite. They taste like muscadine grapes.
Atkinson’s Rainbow Twist – “Wild cherry flavor is a rainbow colored twist! Perfect for on the go enjoyment or a colorful addition to any candy dish. Atkinson’s Rainbow Twists are a family favorite!”
These were the wrapped candy in this month’s box. I really liked these. They had a nice mild fruity flavor that wasn’t overpowering. I threw them in my purse for church candy. Got to have church candy for those Sundays that the kids woke you up three times during the night before and the guest preacher is long winded! Church candy has saved my life more than once.
The Candy Club Subscription Box is a great way to get your sugar fix delivered to your door and in the cutest packaging! I have really enjoyed trying the new candies and having plenty to share with friends. I threw a couple of containers in the car for a girls’ trip and had great times discussing the fate of the world over gummies and watermelon whips (those were in last month’s box!).
