So I’m not quite north of 50 years old, but I’m certainly heading that way, so I was excited to review this box. Even as a mature woman, just south of 50, I really enjoyed the items in this month’s box!
Here’s a look at everything in the February box. Everything looks so soft, warm, and cozy!
Inside the box is a very festive information card – I just love Valentine’s Day. Besides that, I also love the attitude… Single? Taken? Who Cares, I’m Awesome!
The back of the information card lists the enclosed items and suggested retail value.
Wrap ($22) – The information card describes this as a Valentine’s Pink Wrap… but the wrap in my box was actually a lovely cream and very light tannish-pink color. The wrap is large – about 6 foot by 6 foot – and very soft. It can be used as a wrap, a shawl, and even a thin blanket. Very versatile!
Grey Sparkling Beret ($12.99) – This is such a fun item… although the information card suggests it matches the wrap. I’m not sure about that, but what a great hat! I love the sparkles – they are subtle enough that this beret doesn’t look silly but glitzy enough to add some pizzazz. The beret is also a super soft wool-like material, so it’s warm too.
Michele Mele: Dream CD ($8.99) – Michele Mele is a Canadian jazz singer with a lovely voice, with many of the songs on this CD being in the bossa nova style. I love jazz music, but am not terribly familiar with artists or songs. I usually just listen to it on radio station, so it’s nice to have a CD for when the radio station is not playing what I want to hear. Easy listening, but definitely not sleepy!
Radix Etc. “Tease” Herbal Tea ($8.99) – This is a nice herbal tea with damiana, hibiscus, cinnamon, chamomile, and gotu kola. Apparently, it’s supposed to be an aphrodisiac… meow!
LCW & Co. Lavender & Vanilla Sugar Scrub ($11) – I love sugar scrubs so so much and this one has a fantastic scent… lavender and vanilla. Yum! Plus with the coconut and vitamin E oil, it left my skin feeling smooth and soft. And smelling amazing!
Lindt Swiss Chocolates (bonus!) – You can never go wrong with sending me chocolate. And if you send me good chocolate, I will love you even more. These chocolates from Lindt were heavenly. I especially liked the Classico, but the Lindor truffle (raspberry) was also delicious.
As I mentioned, I’m not quite the target audience for this box yet, but even being a little shy of 50, I thought this box was great. I have used and enjoyed everything in the box. The variety was good – some lifestyle items, some fashion items, some chocolate… I imagine any Boomer Woman (or even almost-Boomer Women) would really enjoy receiving Boomerluxe!
