Birchbox is a beauty sample subscription box with 5 new items to test out each month. Birchbox is $10 a month and you can choose a monthly sample during selection time, let Birchbox decide, or pick a pre-curated box. They are currently testing out additional subscription options – check that info out here.

This is the curated Pretty Mighty Box! Current subscribers could have purchased this exact box for $10. Unfortunately it’s now sold out!

In honor of Women’s History Month, we teamed up with southern fashion and lifestyle brand Draper James (plus founder Reese Witherspoon!) to curate the Pretty Mighty box. It may look dainty, but inside you’ll find some of Reese’s favorite powerful, high-performing products—perfect for powerful women. Like you.

DEAL: Birchbox is offering a free Pixi by Petra Palette! with any women’s Birchbox subscription, while supplies last! Just use code MESMERIZE at checkout! OR, get a free extra Birchbox when you subscribe with code TWOFORONE

The information card gives brief details on each item.

You can visit Birchbox.com/MyBox to easily see the details of your box, which I recommend because sometimes they have videos on the item product pages which I find useful.

Everything in the March 2017 Pretty Mighty Curated Box!

Benefit Cosmetics The POREfessional Face Primer ($4.80) This product is pretty much a staple for those that need to camouflage their pores.

It’s a tinted primer that you press in to provide a base for your foundation and create a look of invisible pores. Definitely a cult favorite and a great pick for this box!

Arrow BOOST Color Enhancing Lip Balm ($14 full size) I’ve received this before from Birchbox and keep it at my desk, so it’s almost all gone, so I was more than happy to try it twice! It applies clear but leaves a nice pink tint, and is moisturizing and shiny too. Arrow is a Birchbox brand and everything in it is vegan, paraben-free, and gluten-free.

I purchased this box separately just to get this for $10!

Clarins Hydra-Essentiel Silky Cream SPF 15 Normal to Dry Skin ($2.82) This was silky and moisturized well, but was heavily scented, so I decided to use it to use it on areas of my body besides my face.

Davines OI All In One Milk ($11.85) As I’ve received this before in a packet size in a previous Birchbox, I thought this sample size was fabulous! It’s an all-in-one “milk” that softens, detangles, and controls frizz. You apply after your shower and it leaves your hair soft and manageable.

Davines OI Shampoo ($1.24)

Davines OI Conditioner  ($1.73)

As a bonus, Birchbox included the matching Shampoo & Conditioner! As I love trying out an entire line of products to see how they work together, I was happy with this – especially as they weren’t advertised as part of the box! The entire OI line uses roucou oil to achieve the promised results.

R+Co Dallas Thickening Spray ($5.60) I love all the other R+Co items I’ve tried so far from Birchbox (and a friend that owns a trendy hair salon recommends them all the time) so I’m always happy to test out another one. This one smells great and wasn’t sticky, although I didn’t get crazy volume – just a little added oomph. I’ve been using it on my daughter’s hair to provide a little bit of hold for hair accessories, and it works great for that purpose too.

This little box had a $42 value including the bonus items! That was fantastic for a $10 buy! I didn’t love every item but I certainly got my money’s worth out of it just with the lip balm. The curated box is always so fantastic and you can select it as your box or pick it up as an extra $10 purchase. I decided to get it as an extra this month, because I really wanted to try one of the sample choices for March.

Hi everyone! I used to like Birchbox but canceled a few months back to try some other boxes. I saw the gift with starting s new sub so I signed up and today got the March box after seeing it compared to other boxes I get I will be cancelling it to day! The lotion from Clarins is so tiny, I didn’t know they make them that small and it’s worthless. The hair care products aren’t anything to get excited about either. I have to say it’s the worst box I ever got and I really see a huge decline in Birchbox too.

Too much competition Birchbox you better step up your game!
