Beauteque offers two subscriptions featuring Asian beauty products delivered to your door monthly. Products include makeup, skin care, body care, and more. For $22 per month, your BB Bag comes with 6-8 full-size products. If you like masks, the Mask Maven subscription brings you 9-11 various masks monthly starting at $14.
Beauty Resolutions – BB Bag: A K-Beauty Subscription. Not quite sure I understand this month’s Beauteque theme, but I guess it has something to do with the new year.
DEAL: You can save 10% on the BB bag or Mask Maven with coupon code CRATEJOY10.
The fold out card has information on each of the products and basic how-to-use directions. Pricing for products varied across sites. The prices listed below are those of Beauteque, unless otherwise noted.
I love the black and white chevron pattern on this month’s Beauteque BB bag.
Scinic | It’s Tint – RD02 ($4.99): Subscribers received 1 of 4 shades. This is a combination lip liner and lipstick. The color is vibrant, and this shade also contains tomato extracts.
Here’s a swatch of the color. It’s a little brighter than I like in a red but still very pretty.
Deoproce | Cleanbello Collagen Essential Moisture Cream ($19.99): Use this cream day or night anywhere you need additional moisture. Beauteque says to use this after applying lotion, but I don’t feel that is necessary. The cream delivers enough hydration on its own. The formula contains deep sea water and hydrolyzed collagen to promote healthy skin. It also contains pearl extract to keep skin glowing.
This is a non-greasy looser cream formula.
Beauteque | Eyebrow Trimming Scissors ($5.00): Tame unruly brows with these scissors. I’m going to admit, I tried to use brow scissors years ago and ended up looking CRAZY. If you are like me and prone to excess cutting, make sure you have a good brow kit on hand. LOL.
Haedon | Baobab Perfect Damage Care Perfume Body Wash ($11.99): True to its name, this is a very perfumed body wash. I was not a fan of the scent; it was too floral for me. However, I felt that it did leave my skin feeling soft and hydrated. The formula contains jojoba, avocado, aloe, and nettle extracts among its ingredients.
Haedon | Baobab Perfect Damage Care Perfume Shampoo ($11.99): This was not as perfumed as its body wash counterpart, and I was so much happier with this scent – more clean than floral. The shampoo was nice, but I didn’t notice a huge difference in my hair’s texture. I wish that there was a matching conditioner to use with this. I’ve noticed that a lot of Asian shampoos I’ve received don’t come with separate conditioners, and as a curly girl, I need it.
LadyKin | Elmaju Natural Broccoli Super Brightening Cream ($14.99): This cream contains a lot of fruit and veggie extracts to nourish skin and keep it clear and glowing (broccoli, anise, pumpkin, orange, and blueberry). I’m glad that I used this at night because it does leave a whitecast on the skin. I had been suffering with some breakouts, and this cream reduced the swelling and redness on my face by morning. Some subscribers received either Tony Moly | Pocket Bunny Mist or Anskin | Premium Modeling Mask as alternate items.
I am obsessed with this black and white chevron pattern. It is classic and still totally on trend. The bag is made from PU.
The interior is fully fabric lined.
January’s Beauteque BB Bag is valued at $69. That’s a great value when compared to the cost of the subscription. I’m going to give the brow scissors another try, so wish me luck!

On a side note: Before trying any Asian cosmetic subscription, expect that most information on the package will be in the native language. That said, more and more brands are including directions/ingredients in English, and information can also be found in English on the majority of brands’ websites (you may have to choose a brand’s global or US site). Secondly, a large number of products focus on brightening or whitening the skin. As a person of color, I have not seen my skin color change. Instead, I’ve experienced that my skin tone gets evened out after prolonged use. However, your results may be different. And lastly, many products contain ingredients which are animal-derived, so these may not be an option if you are vegan. You can also check out cosDNA.com to see if the ingredients for the product are listed there.
