February’s theme is “Self Love.” The tools given to us this month can be used to neutralize negative energy stemming from harsh self-judgement and criticism. Learning to love oneself even through our mistakes and our distractions.

All the items are well labeled with some hints on how to use them.

Yogi Surprise Yoga Sequence Series Card. Every month, you receive a little card with a sequence of poses to celebrate the month’s theme.

I really enjoy this sequence card. I actually try to do them all before going any further into the box. This month is all about opening our heart to give as well as receive love with lots of chest-opening pose. Love it!

If you share your yogi surprise photo on social media, you are automatically entered to win a Yoga Retreat, in collaboration with Trip Tribe.

Everything was neatly packaged. Look at this cute laughing buddha!

Jasmine Seven Yoga Mat Wipes ($4). This was one of the two spoilers for this month. With lavender and tea tree oil, these natural wipes come in a travel pack so we can take them with us anywhere. It says that you can use them either for your mat or your skin, but I’ll keep them for my mat.

Cuccio Somatology Calming Yoga Elixir ($9). This was the second spoilers. This aromatic spray smells strongly of lavender with just a hint of cardamom. It’s fresh and relaxing (I love cardamom!). A 25% discount code was also included in the box.

Bearded Brothers Bodacious Blueberry Vanilla ($3). Made with almonds, dates, blueberries and sprouted brown rice powder, they smell and taste delicious. It gives just the right amount of energy to keep on going. It is not sweet, but you feel like you are indulging in something for that sweet craving.

Booda Butter Suds of Love All-In-One Soap ($7). An all-in-one soap, made with shea butter, coconut oil, and olive oil. I was so happy to see this in the box, they are the three ingredients I need in my skin care routine! It can be used for anything: body, face, hair, beard. I love the texture and also that it doesn’t have a scent (hooray!). It feels great on the skin, leaves it smooth and not dry, it might become a new favorite to carry around to our cabin and for camping. A 20% discount code for online purchases was also included.

Balanced Guru Organic Hair Care ($23). First thing: I love the smell! The Rosemary, Oregano and Tea Tree essential oils give it a fresh and herbal scent that I just want to use over and over again. I don’t know if it does anything to my roots, but it definitely feels good!

Valentina’s Naturals Balancing Beauty Mist Toner ($22). I like the idea behind this toner: you can use it as a toner, and you can mist your face throughout the day for a quick refreshing pick me up. But this is for oily to combination skin with natural astringent, and my skin is dry and flaky. So this one is a big no-no for this time of the year. I will try it this summer when my skin decides to flip side and becomes oily. Yay for weird skin.

Included in the box, a spoiler for March Yogi Surprise Lifestyle Box! An Boho HeadBand and a Body Butter!

This was another great month for Yogi Surprise! The snack was delicious, and all there was a fun mix of self-love items! And how can you not be happy when seeing the laughing “booda” in there?
