Everything in Nerd Block’s Stan Lee limited edition box! We love you, Stan!

Metal Collector’s Excelsior Coin With Comic Cell Insert

The back side commands: Face Front, True Believer!

The front has Stan’s head and a little comic insert. I don’t think it’s unique, which would have been really neat.

Stan Lee Excelsior! Lapel Pin

This little pin is perfect for any fan of Stan, with his famous EXCELSIOR! phrase!

Stan Lee Shirt Buttons: I admit, I was not a fan of these buttons when I saw the spoilers. They’re a bit odd. But then I realized that I could attach them to the cool patch collage I’m making with our Marvel Collector Corps & other Funko box patches, and I thought that would be rad! Also, it seemed a lot more normal than removing all the buttons on my shirt and sewing these on.

Stan Lee Art Print by Francisco Herrera: This print was created exclusively for the box, and features Stan hanging upside down a la Spider-Man! The print itself is “soft focus” – it’s not a fuzzy photo.

Stan Lee Sketchbook: Love this blank journal with Stan’s face embossed in caricature on the front.

The pages are blank white and a blue ribbon is included to keep your place.

Friends and Fans by Stan Lee Pack

This little pack features a fan club card and letter, as well as a button pin. A bit of a filler item, but fun! Unfortunately, there’s a spelling error on the card that I just can’t unsee.

Excelsior Replica Ring

This monster ring is awesome but wasn’t sized, so it’s absolutely giant on me.

I think most men who order this box are going to love this – it’s an awesome statement piece!

POW Ocarina: Seriously?

This includes instructions on how to play it.

This is so bizarre! All I can think of is a nod to Zelda and/or Star Trek? Who knows why but at some point they released Marvel licensed Ocarinas. So… now I have my own. This is one of the weirdest items I’ve ever received in a box.

The Inhumans Special Edition #1: This reprint with a variant cover arrived bagged and boarded.

Such great quality!

Stan Lee Sodaz Vinyl Figure

After getting the Tina Belcher Sodaz figure in a previous Nerd Block, I knew I’d like this. It’s a little quirky!

Not your average figure for sure, but…

Like the previous one, it has a hidey hole, so you can stash something interesting in it. For me, it’s a good place to stuff some sweets!

It also balances without the little legs.

True Believer Shirt – And finally, the shirt! This is a great caricature of Stan complete with blingy glasses and teeth.

This box was definitely focused on quantity over anything else. It was fun, and I think a lot of Stan Lee fans will dig it, especially the ring and journal (and for me, the Sodaz is silly but I love it anyways). However, it was missing a big, exclusive, custom designed item. Getting a special Q-Fig in this box (of Stan, not of his creations) would have really truly wowed me. At $5 per non-trivial item (including the print but not the fun pack), I think the value is pretty good, especially if you go in on the box with another Stan fan (but you might have a hard time deciding who gets the ring and who gets the Ocarina!).
