The Valencia Flavor Kit is out! Traditional Spanish paella, from Valencia, tends to be a richer, smokier creation that the “Americanized” paellas most are familiar with. The original dish dates back to the late 1700’s and consisted of saffron and paprika scented rice, with the local seafood catch of the day, chicken and three types of beans.

This month’s kit includes recipes for traditional paella, with seafood and chicken, plus a vegetarian and vegan version for the non-meat eaters. We’ve also include a Pimenton Bloody Mary, perfect for whipping up a patatas bravas or tomato gazpacho.
