Paw Pals with Annie!
Paw Pals with Annie!

PawPals With Annie! is a monthly subscription box that delivers higher quality toys, treats, and accessories for your dog. Each carefully selected vendor partner offers products that are well-made, healthy, and are seasonably themed.  A unique aspect of the subscription is that the items arrive in a tote bag and not in a box. I love their tag. “It’s Dog Barkin’ Good.”

PawPals With Annie! is the only dog subscription box that uses a tote bag instead of a box. The doggies were ready to review as soon as I brought out the bag!

The February theme is ‘Himalayas.’ My collies love unleashing their inner snow dogs when it snows.

Daisy

Daisy is wearing her new bandana from Pawpals with Annie! and is happy to be back home. Being a doggy reviewer is one of her favorite jobs. She can’t wait to be a Himalayan dog at the end of the week when the snows arrive.

February 2017 Pawpals with Annie! Deluxe Bag Large Dog/Bold and Mighty Size

Here are the items in the February Pawpals with Annie! Deluxe Bag Large Dog/Bold and Mighty Size. My sister placed the one doggy treat in a plastic bag because it broke into pieces during transport. The collies, Daisy and Odie, are ready to start eating and playing. They kept placing their snouts on the table while I was taking photos!

Willowwear Bandana Size XL

The Willowear Over the Collar Bandana Size XL ($17.00) is simply adorable. Odie is going to look handsome in it.

Closeup

It’s not an over the top design with lots of hearts and can be worn throughout the year.

I was initially concerned that the bandana would not fit Odie’s collar because it is 1.25″ wide. The collar fitted through the durable tunnel with room to spare.

The 100% woven cotton Made in the USA bandana is reversible. I am always impressed with Willowear Pet Bandanas. It is a high-quality product.

Looking Sharp

I’m not sure why Odie looks serious in this picture. Maybe he heard a neighbor’s dog barking.

Go Dog Crazy Tug

The Go Dog Crazy Tugs Blue Sasquatch wth Chew Guard Toy ($14.99) has a squeaker in the main part of the body. The arms and legs slide through the body making it a great tug of war toy. The toy has Chew Guard technology and is double-stitched. Lucky for Sasquatch, Daisy has deemed it a baby after playing with it. She gave it a bath and placed it under the bed away from Odie’s teeth.

Nuts for Knots

Odie was a happy doggy to play with the Multipet Nuts for Knots Heavy Duty Rope with Tug Dog Toy – Large  ($8.99). It is large enough for Odie and Bella to play tug-of-war together. Odie pranced around the yard as we played fetch during an unusually warm winter day.

Bubba Rose Peanut Butter Crack!

My package had a difficult journey in the mail which is evident when looking at the Bubba Rose Biscuit Company Peanut Butter Crack! ($2.99). My sister placed the broken treat in a plastic bag which can be seen in the main group photo. Bubble Rose Biscuit Company uses cage-free eggs, wildflower honey, and organic ingredients in their treats that are human tested and animal approved. Daisy and Odie agreed that the delicious treat was irresistible.

Himalayan Dog Chew Yacky Nugget

One of the reasons I love dog subscription boxes is because of the unusual dog treats! The Himalayan Dog Chew Yaky Nuggets (4 oz, $4.49) is handmade in the USA with yak and cow milk. The yak milk is sourced through 4,000 Himalayan farmers that are mostly located in Nepal. Last week I met a woman farmer who is going to start milking yaks which are a difficult animal to milk.

The nuggets are hard which prompted me to read the package. They need to be microwaved for a minimum of 40 seconds to puff out the treat. I rarely used my microwave and discovered that it needs to be replaced. It took me three to four minutes to puff out a treat.

Before and After

The square on the left is an extremely hard treat. Do not feed that to your dog! The treat on the right is the puffed up version after being microwaved. The dogs thought they were woofilicious.

Reusable Bag

The Eco-Friendly Tote Bag ($3.99) stores all the items. I use them to bring treats to the farm.

Time for doggy pictures! Odie, half Border Collie and half Labrador Retriever, and Daisy, an English Shepherd, are our reviewers. Daisy and Odie view toys differently which is why they are not photographed together except in one picture. Bella, our mini rat terrier, is snuggling with my sister at the farm.

Daisy

Daisy caught her baby! She loves having jobs and views reviewing doggy box as a serious job. She started barking as soon as I brought the toy and camera over to the door. She did an excellent job catching her Sasquatch baby.

Happy Daisy!

She carried her baby around the yard looking for a spot to give him a bath. She ended up bringing him in for a bath because the yard was too muddy.

Odie

Odie was full of joy to be able to play tug-of-war with the Nuts for Knots Tug Toy. Rope toys are his favorite toys!

He has his eye on the ball! He’s such a happy-go-lucky doggy running around the yard and playing catch.

Our silly dog trotted around the yard shaking the ball in his mouth. He would look puzzled when the ball hit his face.

Odie and Daisy

Daisy is sniffing over the rope toy. She decided it was not a baby and wandered away. Odie is keeping a close eye on her because it has been awhile since he received a rope toy. He is worried that she may keep it.

The doggies had fun practicing being snow dogs and can’t wait to play in the snow that is coming later in the week.  They were delighted with their toys and treats in the February PawPals with Annie! Daisy slept with her new baby last night. Odie was a cheerful doggy as he played with his rope toy. They relished both treats.  Odie proudly wore his new bandana while Daisy wore the January bandana as they fashionably strolled around the neighborhood. The product value is almost $50.00 using discounted pricing and comes with free shipping. It is an excellent box for those that are looking for well-made items and delicious treats for their dogs.
