Mine Chest is the one and only official subscription box for Minecraft fans! It is licensed by Mojang, and now operated by Loot Crate! This box is now a $39.99 bimonthly box, US shipping included.

You’ll get a box full of Minecraft inspired goodies and official merchandise. Boxes come with a t-shirt (with a full range of youth and adult sizes available) and are packed in a collectible and reusable box.

The box also flips around and you can have your own IRL blocks – this one is a mossy cobblestone!

This might technically be the January box, but we received it on February 11, so for a box cut-off of January 15, it’s either super late, or we’re just going to go with calling it a February box.

The theme of the January box was JUNGLE!

Minecraft Mine Chest Watermelon Melon Pin: My daughter says that a slice of watermelon is just called melon!

Minecraft Jungle Temple Shirt: My kids absolutely love the shirts in this box and wear them constantly.

A jungle temple with a waterfall and two tall jungle trees. If you’re a Minecraft parent and didn’t know that, my daughter translated it too.

Minecraft The Survivors’ Book of Secrets ($7.56)

I liked the online safety info in the front of the book!

The book contains combat secrets for both the home front and in the field.

It opens with a letter from “The Chief” to your ‘crafter.

The book includes strategies to implement to achieve different solutions. My daughter got up early this morning and read the entire book – she was so excited!

This official Minecraft™ book contains the collective knowledge of the Survivors: an underground group of Minecraft™ experts who have been around since the days of Alpha.

You’re probably wondering why you’ve never heard of us. It’s because we’re THAT good. We’re experts at covert ops. Misdirection is our middle name. We’re invisible up until the exact moment we want you to see us. . . . Our successes are undeniably impressive: we’ve battled the Overworld mobs, dealt with enemy factions, and defeated the ender dragon multiple times.

Study this book carefully and you just might manage to stay alive as long as we have.

THE CHIEF

I hadn’t heard of The Survivors but they’re pretty awesome.

The box contained another stamp. I’m really hoping Loot Crate mixes this up soon.

Looks like an arrow!

Tada, an arrow! Perfect for a jungle expedition.

This is a huge sticker – perfect for the back of a tablet. It’s an arrow spiked into the ground.

Plush Ocelot ($18.99) MEOW!

Obviously the hit of the box. My daughter hasn’t let this one go since it arrived.

It’s got a lot of detail too, more than I expected, and is soft and plushy. She adds that she even slept with it.

With the book, plushie, pin, and shirt, this was a pretty great box, and my kids are super jazzed to get it. They love Minecraft and even when they’re not playing a ton (right now we’re all Lego Dimensions everything), they love the Minecraft universe and are thrilled to get and open this box! I’m happy with the change to bimonthly and I’m looking forward to seeing what comes next!
