Luxe Pineapple Post Home Box is a bi-monthly box from LuxePineapple, featuring LP finds for the home including artisan crafted items, kitchen+baking, home textiles +linens, office must-haves, decor, specialty cleaning items plus more.

It’s currently a one-time purchase but you can currently grab a 3 box (6 months) subscription. The box shown here had a single-box purchase price of $48. I bought it with a 40% off coupon. They’ve now simplified the price to $33.50.

The Luxe Pineapple Post Home Box theme this month is “Find Joy in the Ordinary.”

The information card gives you brief details about the items.

Everything in my Luxe Pineapple Post Home Box!

Pewter Feather in Gold ($9) This metal feather is a cute home accent and will go with so many decor styles! I could see it in a modern home or a frilly one!

It’s just the right size to catch a pair of earrings too!

Demeter Fragrance Diffuser in Thunderstorm ($14 on card, $7.97 calculated) I adore Demeter and I’m sad that it’s not in Ipsy anymore. Demeter’s single note scents are combinations of the fewest ingredients that comprise a recognizable smell. The Demeter Fragrance Library consists consists of over 300 different fragrances inspired by everyday objects and experiences. Today I learned that all their fragrances are handcrafted in Pennsylvania! Neat.

This size was exclusively produced for the box. Since they have a 4 oz size available for $15.94, I feel more comfortable with a calculated price.

Have you ever considered the olfactory side of rain? You know it’s coming, you can smell it in the air (exactly!). It does seem that on summer days when it is hot and dry, with a thunderstorm brewing just over the next hill, you can `smell the rain. Well, you can smell something, but rain? Have you ever tried to smell this same rain in January when the ground is frozen solid? Not a chance, but when the ground and plants are warmer, you can smell something. What you really smell comes not from the air, but the ground! Plants release oils that enter the soil and blend with the other earthy odors. These odors are released into the air when the relative humidity at ground level exceeds 75 percent. Moist humid air will transmit odors far better than dry air. In these moist humid conditions we notice these odors more readily. And since rain is so often connected with moist humid air, we tend to associate one with the other. The Demeter Fragrance Thunderstorm captures this complex sensory moment perfectly. Like poetry, Thunderstorm is subtle and difficult to define, but real, with Thunderstorm reflecting the deep and violent nature of a summer storm.

For anyone that’s a storm lover this scent is perfect. I liked it quite a bit and it reminded me of the drops falling on hot concrete and grass in the summer. Transported me!

Rifle Paper Co Tapestry Pocket Notepad ($7) Does anyone else let out an internal squeal when Rifle shows up in a box? I love their style, it’s super unique and always seems fresh.

This little padfolio comes with a pad of note paper and a little pocket to store your most important notes. My 8 year old swiped it from me and began making lists as soon as I explained to her that it was best for lists. (At first she wanted to journal with it.) The creamy thick paper is wonderful.

Mulberry Silk Pillowcase ($25 linked to similar on Amazon) Silk pillowcases are so luxurious, and help keep your face and hair wrinkle-free while you sleep. If you didn’t know that was a thing, you must try it! They really help tame the ultra-terrifying bed head I get without one.

Cotton Turkish Towel ($18) I adore Turkish towels! They really plump up with each successive wash and sop up an astonishing amount of water. You can use them for a wrap, quick cover up, and they fold up so neatly in your bag. I am always happy to get another in my box.

I think this box is both practical and fun – a doodad, a couple great linen items, and 2 consumables (the home fragrance & the notepad). I think it’s a winning mix. The total value was about $67. I’m not sure about the items matching the theme – finding joy in the ordinary – for me it was more about a curator longing for spring and summer (or maybe I’m just putting my own dreams for the seasons to change on it?).
