Loot Gaming is a monthly subscription box from Loot Crate featuring collectibles, apparel, accessories and more from the biggest and best video game universes. Each box will have $60 in items, plus a booklet/mini-mag and pin.

This month the box transformed into a companion cube from Portal!

The Loot Gaming box for January 2017 had a MAD SCIENCE theme.

MAD SCIENCE Poster: These giant posters make for awesome hangups in your gaming room.

The theme details plus all item details were on the back of the poster.

MAD SCIENCE Coin Pin:

Game on!

The token-like design is so classy and it provides a nice contrast for the dripping brain, scalpel, and some sort of mad science operation it was being subjected to!

Mega Man Proto Man Helmet

It’s the Mega Man prior helmet!

I was happy to find that the quality was good (I had issues with the Blue one we received a few years back in the classic box).

Psychonauts Goggles

It’s Raz’s goggles! Plucked from the game these steampunky specs are a fun cosplay item. If you’re not into the game but still want goggles you can find steampunk goggles for a few bucks on amazon.

Portal Companion Cube Necktie

This is cute, especially with Valentine’s Day upcoming.

The companion cubes make this super sweet!

Resident Evil 7 T-Shirt: Timed with the release of the latest Resident Evil game!

I think the Loot Gaming shirts are the nicest out of all of them. High quality and great fit! ?
This month of Loot Gaming was only ok for me. I was expecting more gruesome items actually. The items could have been a lot better quality for the price of this box. I suspect that the costs of licensing, and not item production, are what makes it one of their pricier subscriptions. I would rather see unbranded goggles and get more items!
What do you think of Loot Gaming this month?
