Loot Anime Yume Phone Charm

This month’s exclusive charm is a chibi version of Yume! “Chibi” means “small person” in Japanese.

The back of the charm has a Loot Anime logo, ensuring that it is an authentic item.

Sword Art Online I Socks – Chibi Asuna

Subscribers received either Chibi Kirito or Chibi Asuna. We got Chibi Asuna and we’re loving this comfy pair of kawaii socks!

Log Horizon Light Novel Vol. 1 ($11.18)

This light novel that fits the theme well is written by Mamare Touno and illustrated by Kazuhiro Hara. For those who are not familiar, light novel is a style of Japanese novel that mainly targets teen and young adult readers in Japan.

Thirty thousand Japanese gamers awake one day to discover that the fantasy world of Elder Tales, an MMORPG that was formerly their collective hobby, has become their cold hard reality. Severed from their everyday lives, they confront a new horizon filled with ravenous monsters, flavorless food, and the inability to die! Amid the chaos, veteran gamer Shiroe gathers his friends, the guardian Naotsugu and the assassin Akatsuki, and together they embark on an adventure to change the world as they know it!

If you like novels with a MMORPG (Massively Multiplayer Online Role-playing Games) theme, then this is for you.

Like the popular Sword Art Online, the story of this novel revolves around players trapped in an online game. And as expected of Japanese light novels, there were great illustrations inside it!

No Game No Life T-Shirt Of Jibril

Love the colorful print, it looked so nice on the dark shirt! For those who aren’t familiar, No Game No Life is a light novel by Yuu Kamiya. Illustrated in this shirt is Jibril, one of the main characters who is the youngest of her race. She was described in the novel as a girl with a purple-pink hair and wings near her hip.

Sword Art Online II Asuna Figure

Yay, another Asuna item! In Sword Art Online I, she had yellow hair but in Sword Art Online II – where this item is from – she changed into a more common avatar with a blue hair. Unlike Log Horizon, in Sword Art Online player killing results in actual death. :/

Look at her big blue eyes! So pretty!

Her hairstyle is so detailed too – long, flowy and braided! The figure is also connected with a tube on the stand to keep it in place.

Re:Zero Rem&Ram Rotating Picture Frame

Re:Zero is another light novel series and this rotating picture frame features the twin characters Rem and Ram.

This is such a perfect item for the theme! Rem & Ram have complementary magic powers and it would be fun to turn this around depending on how you feel that day – water or wind!

I think the items fit the theme amazingly well this month, which was particularly game and fantasy heavy. One of the things that was so unique about this month was the focus on light novels and derivative series instead of just anime or manga, and that added a rich dimension to the culture that Loot Anime is bringing into our homes!

What did you think of Loot Anime this month?
