The Lady Lair is a themed literary, lifestyle, beauty/personal care, and geekish monthly subscription box – starting at $44.99/month.

My monthly welcome note and a Happy Valentine’s Day… I just love it! It’s the little things that make a subscription stand out and personal touches are perfect in my opinion.

DEAL: Get $3 off your first box! Use coupon code FIRSTMONTH3.

This month’s theme: My Love Language is Food. Also included is a list of the contents broken down by category.

The Chew Cookbook. This cookbook is full of the most popular recipes from The Chew Viewers. Just flipping through this book I’m both hungry and completely inspired. I can’t wait to spend an evening planning a nice dinner for my husband, we will have a date night in.

Red Apron. I love this basic bright red apron. Nothing says romance like red, it’s the color of passion. As an avid baker, I love wearing an apron in the kitchen – makes me feel like a true professional.

Nature’s Path Love Crunch Granola, in Dark Chocolate Macaroon. I can’t wait to add this to my morning yogurt. It’s sweet and hearty plus it’s non-GMO and organic certified. The mix of chocolate and coconut was like a candy bar but with more nutritional value.

Candlelit Desserts Assorted Mini Donut Soaps. These smell every bit as delicious as a real donut with the added bonus of no calories because they aren’t edible. I’m not sure I’ll be able to use them, they are absolutely adorable.

BioBelle Facial Mask in #AfterParty. No parabens, no gluten and no GMO’s in this facial mask with blueberries and yogurt.

The Lady Lair is the best of all my favorite things… literary, lifestyle, geek-ish, and beauty/personal care. I also love that they sent a nice letter stating why the box is packaged differently in order to keep all of my new things neat and tidy. I love that I never know what to expect with this box and I it’s so much fun to try new things. As I’ve said before I can’t wait to dive into the cooking book, so if you need me I’ll be hiding with my cookbook and granola.

This makes me sad, I just signed up for the box a couple weeks ago and received that email last week and a refund. I was really looking forward to it.

This is a very creative curation and definitely a box I’d have subscribed to if I lived in the US. Too bad she’s taking a break, The soaps areso cute!!
