Ipsy is a monthly beauty subscription – get five makeup, beauty, skincare, and haircare items in a cute bag for $10 a month! It’s the most popular subscription box and a great way to sample new colors and beauty brands.

TIP: If you like this subscription, check out our list of Birchbox alternatives for similarly priced subscriptions.

The theme for this month is #IpsyMuchLove.

The back of the card doesn’t have details on the items – there are many bag variations every month – but it tells you how to log in to your account to check out how-to videos and tips for your products. They’ve also started emailing out product information and tips from their influencers!

The bag this month!

The inside is made from denim with orange accents. Seriously neon orange accents!

Everything in my pouch!

Luxie Rose Gold Blush Face Brush #514 ($18) Luxie tends to show up in a couple of beauty subscriptions, including ipsy! I love them because they’re functional and pretty at the same time.

Love these soft bristles and I’m never upset to get a solid quality brush in a $10 beauty bag.

Elizabeth Mott Whatup Beaches Matte Bronzer ($2.19) The name is chortle-worthy and unfortunately, so is the sample size!

It’s so teeny, it’s not even the size of a regular eyeshadow – maybe a sample shadow! It’s certainly enough to test it out and fall in love with it, which I kind of did – matte, creamy powder, and not too dark.

True Botanicals Resurfacing Moisture Mask ($13.24) This mask is 0.25 oz and that price is correct, even though the sample size is tiny! The full-size version of this mask is $90, so I’m stretching this to at least 2 applications.

This AHA-based mask also uses natural botanicals to assist with that crucial skin turnover plus brightening and retexturing.  It includes lactic acid, super rich avocado butter, and Astaxanthin, which sounds like a skin-rejuvenating miracle worker!

Luna by Luna Calypso Highlighter ($23 full size) Based on the size of this sample (a large, domed amount) I believe it’s a full-size item, but I can’t find out anything besides that it’s been in ipsy! I could not possibly believe that the full-size item was actually larger than this.

Such a pretty lavenderish mauve! Swatch is below!

Juice Beauty PHYTO-PIGMENTS Last Looks Cream Blush – in 04 Flush ($24) This is a full-size retail packaged item!

I love cream blushes and this soft terra cotta color is really pretty and can work for all seasons. Bonus – doubles as a lip tint!

This blush includes hyuraluronic acid to plump your skin. I absolutely love this brand because they include skin-friendly ingredients in cosmetics that you’d typically find in a skincare product.

It was so odd though. I rubbed and rubbed my finger over the top and eventually had to dig in with my nail. It’s not that this product is hard or even had a skin, but it was completely impervious to rubbing. I’ve never experienced another product like this. The top of this compact probably had my finger swipe over it about 30 times. It’s neither good nor bad, but unusual enough for a cream product to mention! Maybe it has something to do with the Juice Beauty exclusive Moisture Blend (vegetable glycerin, grapeseed oil & phospholipids)?

The bronzer, highlighter, and blush swatches. All together it seems quite dirty, but they’re all quite nice once you apply them in the right spots.

My bag had an insane $80 in value this month! I was really happy with the selections and obviously with the value ($10 bag!). By the end I even forgot that the bronzer sample size was so teeny – 3 out of my 5 items were full-size!

What did you get in your Ipsy this month?

My ipsy bag was HORRIBLE. The only things I got out of what is pictured here is the bag itself and the brush. Everything else was TINY, TINY samples. My first ipsy bag and it was awful, awful, AWFUL.

I got my bag today and boy, was it hefty! Due to my referral points win! (Thank you so much for that!!!) I commented on your reveals post what I was getting, and I loved everything. (Royal & Langnickel Fan brush, Hikari pigment, Soo Ae face masks duo, Absolut NY ultra fine eyeliner, and the NYX butter lipstick in Ripe berry) Everything was amazing!
