DegustaBox is a monthly subscription box that brings your favorite food and snacks to your doorstep. The subscription costs $19.99 per month in the US, £12.99 per month in the UK and you’ll get a box filled with 10-15 products and goodies! This box is always so large and heavy when I get it. I love opening and digging in. The box this month was a bit squished but all the contents were good inside.

This box is really decorated inside and out. While the outside of the box has little food items on it, the inside is full of bright green food words. So much detail for a food box. The brown butcher paper keeps everything nice and neat inside. DegustaBox does a great job of wrapping the glass jars in bubble wrap and keeping things from getting broken and there are so many full-size items in the box everything is all packed in and good for shipping. This was especially useful this month since my box obviously went through the wringer in its travels to my house.

Everything in the February box!

The information sheets are always great and full of information on the included items.

POPChips Ridges ($20.89 for a 24 pack) – We got some POPChip ridges in our August 2016 box and just like then we ate these quickly. Chips are my downfall and I must eat them if they are in my house. These were delicious and I love the flavors.

Coco Chips ($4.99 for a 1lb bag) – I am not a coconut fan but my mother-in-law loves it. I’m setting this bag aside for her.

Walkers Shortbread Rounds ($14.97 for 4 boxes) – I’m a shortbread cookie fan and these hit the spot. I only had a couple so far but they are buttery goodness. The Walkers shortbreads are made with only 4 ingredients: butter, flour, sugar, and a pinch of salt. I love the simplicity of them.

Nando’s Peri-Peri Hot Sauce ($14.97 for 4 pack) – I LOVE Hot sauce and we got the Medium Peri-peri sauce in our September 2016 box and I loved that one. I can’t wait to make something that calls for a really spicy HOT sauce.

Slendier Fettuccine ($18.00 for a 6 pack) – In the box this month we either got fettuccine, spaghetti, or noodles.  These konjac noodles are a great alternative for people trying to loose weight, eat healthier, and/or have allergies. Konjac is a root vegetable. These noodles can be cooked and ready in about 1 minute.

Ricola Citrus Herb ($4.50) – I just can’t do anything honey flavored or the thought of honey so these are not for me but I will pass them on. We got a different flavor of these in our December 2016 box and my hubby still has those so I’ll pass these on to someone else.

Prbar Chocolate Peanut Granola Bar ($24.95 for a box of 12) – These gluten free bars are all natural and have a perfect blend of carbs and vitamins. I’m not a huge bar fan but this was pretty good and one I would eat again. I like keeping some gluten free snacks here for my friends and my kid’s friends who need them and I plan to get some of these for them. They will think they are great and a real treat.

Jones Orange & Cream Soda ($15.00 for a 12 pack) – I like Jones soda and this is no exception. It was delicious and I got a bit of it before I had to share with my son who finished it off. We also got a Jones soda in our October 2016 Box in a different flavor but I have yet to find a flavor I don’t care for.

Green & Blacks Pure Dark Chocolate with Sea Salt ($2.85) – Chocolate and sea salt is the perfect combination. This one is really good but very rich in flavor.

February was an interesting month for me from DegustaBox.  There were a lot of repeats or close to repeats and I really like when we get new items and new brands for me to try. This month also did not seem to have as many full size and large items as most months.  With that we did like the items we got and there are always a lot of items in the box which we have fun going through and deciding which is a favorite and which ones we just have to pass along to someone who will enjoy it more.

Have you tried DegustaBox?

I’m passing the coconut chips and the Prbar thing to my grandson (college students are always hungry). I don’t find Jones Sodas to be all that good, myself, but I drink very few sugary sodas. Got the spaghetti in my box, and I’m looking forward to trying it. A bit wary of the hot sauce, but I’ll find a way to try it. I’ve had other Popchips that I liked better than these flavors, but that’s one great chocolate bar, and of course Walker’s shortbread is always yummy. The Ricola things are very strong – not sure if they actually help, but they’re a good way to stop a sweet craving for me as one of them kills my taste buds! Presumably because I filled out their surveys recently, I also got another package of the popcorn and one of the Welch’s Fruit’n Yogurt snacks that were in last month’s box, as well as a couple packets of Bandar Monkey mango cocktail sauce. It’s always interesting to see what’s in these boxes.
