Japonesque Pro Performance Lipstick in Uptown ($20) The packaging for Japonesque is so pretty! Love this lipstick tube!
The formula on this lipstick is rich and moisturizing! It’s creamy but really strikes the balance between a matte and a gloss. I think it might be good for an ombre lip: the color wasn’t for me, much too light!

Makeup Geek Eyeshadow Pan ($6 x 2) Unexpected & Barcelona Beach
Every BOXYCHARM subscriber received 2 shadow pans this month! FYI – Something funny seems to have happened with the Makeup Geek website, hopefully those links will start working again!
Barcelona Beach is a sandy neutral fawn color, with a mostly matte finish.
Unexpected is a neutral matte mauve.
I did wish that I had received a metallic. The shadows blend well, have a fair amount of pigment, and are pretty. Lipstick swatched on the right.
Small Black Z Palette ($14) When I saw the sneak peek of this totally darling BOXY-branded magnetic palette I thought for sure it couldn’t also be a Z Palette brand one, but it is! Every subscriber got this perfect little palette.
The palette comes with little magnet stickers to attach to the bottom of your pans if needed. And Z Palette lets you know you shouldn’t get your palette wet, throw it, or any number of crazy things that might harm your precious new baby.
This will hold 9 pans of the same size, here’s the palette with the 2 I got in this month’s box. I love this item – it’s perfect and lets me create my own perfect palette, plus it’s a great item for this subscription as they send panned items fairly often.
Dr. Brandt Skincare Microdermabrasion Age Defying Exfoliator ($79) This item is a doozy, and it’s one I’ve used before. I get deluxe sample sizes fairly often, but never the full-size of this product. This exfoliator helps freshen up skin and smooth it out. It’s perfect for fine lines as well as discolorations/acne scars. I’m currently focusing on my chin, so this is perfect. In addition to the physical exfoliation, it uses lactic acid as well, so after using this scrub my skin is always super soft.

Royal & Langnickel Omnia Eye Kit ($29.98) Not every subscriber received this exact item, but everyone got makeup brushes.
The two brushes are totally different!
The gold brush uses natural hair and is for larger areas. The rose gold uses synthetic hair and is for detail work, like the crease.
A fantastic set!
My BOXYCHARM had about $155 in value, which is insane, and everything was fabulous. I didn’t love the lipstick shade so I’ll pass that one along. I couldn’t ask for more from a $21 subscription box. Unfortunately, I think the secret is out and the waitlist is getting long – we’re no longer in a “subscribe this month and get this box” situation, so if you have been loving BOXYCHARM you might want to consider signing up.

I received my box and it is lovely alas the only thing that was not right were the colors of the make up geek eye shadows I received. I received Cherry Cola and another deeper brown color. Cherry Cola is a brown plum color and neither will work with my complexion. Would have loved to receive the Barcelona Beach and the other color that you received. Otherwise Boxy knocks it out of the park once again.
I’m jealous! You got the lipstick and brush set that I wanted. Instead I received a Doucce red lipstick and the sedonna brushes.
