YumeTwins is a monthly Kawaii subscription brought to you by the same people behind TokyoTreat! Every month you’ll receive an assortment of super cute and adorable kawaii products from Japan.

DEAL: Use code KAWAIIXMAS to save $5 on your first box!

The theme for this box is Happy New Year!

Like with TokyoTreat, there’s an adorable colorful magazine included that contains the product info, facts about Japan, information on contests, and so on. The quality is really high, which goes along with the rest of the box!

There’s a lot of feature articles inside the magazine. There’s even a photo contest and a community page!

The centerfold has articles about two of the items in the box.

Everything in the January 2017 YumeTwins Box! So much cuteness!

Sailor Moon Plushie: Subscribers received 1 out of 5 Sailors. Yay, we got Sailor Moon!

She’s so cute and sits upright. Love those big blue eyes!

She even has the bow on the back. Great details on this fun plushie!

Yume Twins just re-launched with a new box and this promise:

 5 Kawaii items Including:

  •  Premium plushie
  •  Lifestyle goods
  •  Premium anime character merchandise guaranteed: Sailor Moon, Rilakkuma, Hello Kitty, Pokemon, Studio Ghibli, Doraemon, Gudetama

For this review, I thought I’d make the point of showing all the packaging and authenticity stickers. Everything in this box is authentic – and no cheap little stationery items.

Disney Tsum Tsum Cosmetic Pouch: I may have yelped like a little puppy when I saw this item! I love Tsum Tsum!

This oh-so-cute cosmetic pouch is perfect for keeping goodies collected in a larger bag and keeping any spills at bay. Plus, it’s got great Valentines-ey style!

Rilakkuma New Year Mochi: This item celebrates (in kawaii style!) the Japanese new year tradition of offering mochi on a Shinto altar.

This is a thoughtful item!

Plenty of expiration – and the booklet came with all the info on heating and eating this item.

Plus you still get a little Rilakkuma as a remembrance. I’m not sure why he has an orange?

Rilakkuma Shampoo Bottle: This is fabulous! It’s sturdy, sorta pricey (saw it on eBay for $25), and useful! I can’t decide what to use it with, but I’m thinking laundry detergent, so I can teach my kids how many squirts go in, so they can help me out, and not waste. (Besides, they’ll want to do the laundry if they get to squirt Rilakkuma, right?!)

Hello Kitty Cozy Socks

So cute, and so cozy! This pair shows HK as Cinderella, along with a pumpkin coach and castle!

My daughter grabbed these straight away!

She’s so kawaii!

5 premium kawaii items were promised and delivered! I really loved that everything was adorable and useful – and that I didn’t get a stationery or useless item overload. I’m already a fan of the new YumeTwins!

I’m actually really sad that they might be dropping the stationary all together. I just started my first full time office job, and I was really looking forward to hoarding paper, pens, and sticky notes. I hope that they will still include these items in the future, but perhaps in a higher quality? I can’t wait to get mine in the mail still though!

Hi Darling! If you’re into kawaii stationery, I would suggest Kawaii Box as an alternative. They always send along cute pens, pencils, office supplies, and so on. 😀

Rilakkuma may have an orange because its normal to give/eat oranges for the lunar new year… or it could just be because its super cute… 🙂
