Vegan Cuts Beauty Box is a monthly beauty subscription service that sends 4-7 items ranging from unique cosmetics to luxurious skin care. Best of all, they are 100% cruelty-free! Monthly recurring shipments are $22.95 with free shipping in the USA (there is an additional charge for other countries). This sub is also available in 6 or 12-month terms that do not renew but that do earn you a discount.

Vegan Cuts doesn’t offer customization and sends items that are suitable for almost everyone. They promise not to send foundation or other items that match a specific skin tone and instead send makeup items that are as inclusive as possible with possible variations in shades. They also promise a value of at least $30 but have sent boxes that are significantly above that mark. Vegan Cuts sends deluxe “travel” sized or full-sized products and rarely sends single use packets.

There was a product information card that included a coupon code for a shop purchase and info on how you can win a free box by sharing your box on social media.

The flip side of the card listed each item and the retail value. It also gave the theme, which for January was “A New Beginning” and urged us to try something new in 2017!

I have been applying Goddess Garden Organics Bright Eyes Firming Eye Cream ($17.99) twice a day and it is creamy but not greasy and is supposed to reduce puffiness and fine lines. Aloe, mango seed butter, and bamboo extract offer soothing and firming properties and it has a very subtle scent from lavender oil.

ClariSEA Sea Salt Solutions Deep Pore Detox Activated Charcoal Exfoliating Mask ($7) can be used two ways: as a mask or as a clay cleanser.

I used it as a cleanser by mixing a bit of the powder in my hand along with a creamy cleanser and then scrubbed, followed by rinsing. Kaolin, sea salt, mineral salt, calendula extract, and bamboo charcoal are the only ingredients and it left my skin feeling soft.

I’ve recently started using natural deodorants on the weekend and Stinkbug Naturals Tangerine Spice Organic Cream Deodorant ($2.99) worked very well. In fact, it was one of the best natural deodorants I have ever tried! I had to apply it with my fingers but since I had just taken a shower it wasn’t gross. The cream smells lovely and spread easily and at the end of the day, I didn’t notice any B.O. but I’m not ready to commit to wearing on a daily basis.

I have fine hair so I skipped my regular volumizing conditioner and spritzed a bit of Briogeo Rosarco Milk Reparative Leave-In Conditioning Spray ($10.50) in my hair instead. The amino acids seal the cuticle to keep the frizzies away and vitamin E helps prevent breakage in this new reparative line from the brand. The scent is nice and it didn’t weigh down my hair.

Ohhh, I love the smell of Effusia’s Muscle Bomb Fizz & Foam Bath Bomb ($1.48). The scent is supposed to help you “recover, refresh, renew.” I haven’t even used it yet but the smell alone is uplifting!

Plus, it looks so cute! The scent is a blend of peppermint, spearmint, rosemary, eucalyptus, and tea tree oils in a base of baking soda, Epsom salt, and kaolin.

I’m not sure who put the Red Hibiscus shade of Jersey Shore Cosmetics Lip & Cheek Rouge ($30, some subscribers may receive Baccara Rose) but thank you, thank you, thank you! I LOVE this shade! It’s perfect for me and has a bit of shimmer, can be used on cheeks and lips, and smells good, too!

Here it is swatched on my inner arm. This color is described as “a pretty red with tones of a Red Hibiscus flower.” You can use a little or a lot and the formula was long-lasting and I just love this!

I adored my January Vegan Cuts Box! It had items for my hair, eyes, body, face, and even a dual-purpose makeup item! I feel good knowing that “no bunny was harmed” in the making of these items, too! This box had a value of $70, which is more than twice the promised value of $30!
