The Stan Lee Box is the one and only official subscription box that’s created, and personally curated, by Stan Lee! For only $49.99 every other month, you’ll get a collection of Stan Lee’s favorite things, ranging from collectible figures, licensed artwork, limited edition items, and a lot more.

EXCELSIOR!

A short welcome message from Stan Lee! The theme of the box was “It’s the most MARVELOUS time of the year!”

The information sheet gives you a list of all the marvelous items this month!

The only downside of this box is the packing material used – hopefully, it won’t return. There was clearly a lot of care in packing the box; multiple items were held together with sticky dots so they wouldn’t jostle in transit, but the woody packing material made its way into nearly all the items.

Everything in the first Stan Lee Box! We love you, Stan!

Marvel Graphic Novel: The Superior Spider-Man – My Own Worst Enemy ($16.16) I think getting a graphic novel in this box is a great start – a little more meat than just one book. Superior Spider-Man, of course, is Slott & Stegman’s vision of the smarter & stronger Spidey!

Marvel Champions #3 Variants ($3.99 each) Hey Stan, how you doing? (He has his arm around Hulk!) This is a great pick, plus everyone receives the same variants, so you can keep both, or gift one, or whatever floats your boat.

Since this is #3, it’s a lot less likely you’ll have received the same issue in another box. The story grabs you from the first page, this was a good one (and a good example of the diversity that Stan Lee has helped pioneer in the comics industry).

Fun Facts Collector Card #22

This is a fun collector card with a fun “fact” about how Thor’s flight actually works.

Rob Prior Stan Lee Print ($10) I love Rob Prior, he makes some of the best art in the business. This one features signatures of both Prior & Lee, but they’re part of the art, not signed.

Amazing Incredible Fantastic: A Marvelous Memoir ($19.77)

I loved this! It came out about a year before being in the box, so admittedly some subscribers may have already had it, but I’ve never read it, and I spent a lot of time poring over it. I

This is the story of Stan. Who is a real-life super hero.

From humble beginnings to the start of something amazing.

Plus a few trips into everyone’s favorite Stan Lee thing – the cameo! I’m on the edge of my seat every time waiting for it!

Honestly didn’t know that Stan was married! I also didn’t realize that he’s 94 already (I think she’s 95). That’s really amazing. What a great, fun story.

Q Fig Captain America Figure ($19.95)

So many Captain America styles, this one’s from Civil War. I love Q-Figs, we’re really excited to keep building our collection of these, and Cap? Gotta have him!

Freedom, liberty, the American way, and comics and heroes.

Funko Rock Candy Captain Marvel Vinyl Figure ($10.99) The origin story of Captain Marvel is a little more complicated, but it’s detailed in the accompanying booklet. We couldn’t be happier about this awesome figure!

She’s a bobblehead with a chic, short bob, and a power stance, grasping her closed fist with the other palm.

She’s pretty marvelous!

We’re really looking forward to seeing this Cap lead her own feature film. The kids and I couldn’t have been more excited about these 2 figures. They’re really fantastic (alas, I lost the battle and my children gleefully carted them away).

Getting this box led me to poll some friends on just how it is that Stan Lee is still alive – and not just alive, but vibrant! Everyone concluded that it’s because of his intense creativity, vigor for life, and the fact that he’s a super-hero himself. I love how this box has a little Stan Lee fandom intermingled with items from some of his best and favorite characters. The value was about $85, which was a good box. What I really liked about this is that it was straight up comics, vinyls, and prints – core goodies, and that’s a perfect box for people looking for classics.

Is this from 2016 as it said in your title or is that a misprint?
