Socks and I is a totally fun subscription box that delivers, you guessed it, SOCKS! I love socks, as does my teen daughter, so I was super excited to review this box.
Socks and I offers three different levels:
- Easy Does It (1 pair/month) for $10.99
- Now We’re Walking (2 pairs) for $15.99
- Heavy Footed (4 pairs) for $20.99
When you subscribe, you also get to choose men’s socks, women’s socks, or a mixture of men’s and women’s.
Socks and I sent me two boxes, each of four socks (Heavy Footed), for this review. Here’s what I saw opening one of the boxes – socks, an information/thank you card and a Socks and I sticker. I just love their simple, clean logo!
And here’s a look at the back side of the information/thank you card. But what you really want to see are the socks, right? Let’s go!
Here are the four socks that were in the first box. Because it’s a single brand subscription, the only information on the socks is the simple Socks and I tag.
And here are the four pairs that were in the second box.
One of my favorite pair of socks in this box is the black paisley pair. They say Gin right above the toes. I’m not sure what was intended, but when I look down at my feet and see Gin, I laugh a little. It makes me happy.
I also like the navy pair with the yellow stripes. The bonus red stripes around the instep add a nice, private pop of color. When you wear the socks with pants and shoes, they look pretty straightforward.
OK, I love these socks too. Maybe I can’t really pick a favorite. The two socks with bold geometric patterns, one red/black/white and one orange/black/white look super amazing with black dress pants. Or black yoga pants, which sometimes you can pull off as dress pants. Shhh. Anyway, these socks are super sassy.
The little yellow socks are super adorable. They have a sweet, delicate little print that almost looks like embroidery or cross stitch – so cute! These are a slightly shorter socks. The others were all more mid-calf (except the knee socks below); these yellow ones are more like lower calf.
Two more great socks. I really like the grey socks with the pastel argyle/diamond pattern. This could be because I wear a lot of grey and pastels with my black dress pants. This pair, in particular, is super soft and cozy. I’m not sure why, but they just feel awesome.
I’m not as much in love with the other pair, but they are a good pair of socks. The pinstripe design and size leads me to believe these are probably men’s socks. The bright red foot, while pretty, is also a bit visually shocking when you look down at your foot. Hey, different strokes for different folks. Even though these aren’t my favorite, they will still get used in my house!
Last, but not least, this awesome pair of knee socks. They are brown/maroon and have a texture like knee socks I wore growing up, which I loved. They aren’t quite long enough to be boot socks (although that hasn’t stopped me from wearing them with my boots) and the colors are perfect for winter. I love knee socks and boots!
The tagline for Socks and I is “Your Favorite Socks, Delivered Monthly.” I think this is spot on. I liked every pair of socks and loved a bunch of them. There are definitely a couple of pairs that have quickly become my favorites. Because of the variety of socks that Socks and I sends, you are definitely going to find your favorite too! Also, the socks are nice quality – even after wearing and washing a couple of times, they have kept their shape and still look new. I think anyone who loves socks would really enjoy Socks and I.
