Loot Crate’s Marvel Gear + Goods subscription is the ultimate subscription for Marvel fans! This bimonthly box comes loaded with completely exclusive Marvel items including wearables and other goods. I like practical nerdiness, whether it’s to wear or to keep around my house and use, so I was so excited to receive this box!

The level of detail that goes into this box is insane – the info card is presented as one of Tony Stark’s blueprints from Stark Industries.

The reverse breaks down the items in an easy to read format. There are always little jokes and puns for the Marvel enthusiast to chuckle at.

Pym Technologies Measuring Glass Featuring Giant-Man, Wasp, and Ant-Man! It’s made of a light glass and is top rack dishwasher safe, which helps with cleanup. I don’t see this replacing my trusty Pyrex, so I’m using it to hold pens and pencils in my kitchen.

Black Panther Apron Yes! This was the first spoiler released for this box and it’s awesome. With adjustable neck loop and ties, this apron fits me even though I’m a shortie. I love the artwork on the front. Who else is excited for the Black Panther movie?

M.O.D.O.K Ice Mold Mechanized Organism Designed Only for Killing is a comic book villain who has popped up in various Marvel media. I recognize him from Ms Marvel but had to do some research to learn more about him. And I love a good acronym! The ice mold will make one large evil ice cube. I’ve never used a two-part silicone mold before but there’s a small hole to make it easy to fill the second half of the mold.

Ultron Pin This month’s pin features Hank Pym’s creation, Ultron. If you’re only familiar with the movies you’ll believe Tony Stark to have created Ultron, but Hank Pym was the original brains behind the genocidal robot.

Super Science Plate Set I am SO thrilled with these plates. Not only are they a good size (they’re almost dinner sized) but they’re also top-rack dishwasher safe (not microwave safe). They’re made of melamine plastic and feel nice and sturdy.

I LOVED this month’s kitchen-themed box! I love geeky items that are practical, and Gear + Goods definitely delivers on all fronts! I’m also really happy that the plates are dishwasher safe – it seems like a minor detail until you realize how much you hate hand-washing dishes.
