This month I received a tie, lapel pin, pocket square, and a pair of nice socks. Well, I should say “we received this box” because it will be my boys trying on the items. (LOL.)
I did get one of my sons to model for me and it was pretty fun to “doll” him up. In case you did not know I am a mom to 2 boys, no girls, so my life has been about mud, booboos, trucks, and other boyish things.
I think I can do it in 4 easy steps. So let’s get started on making him look dapper!!!
Step 1: Neckwear!
Our first item is a tie from Moustard ($25). It is a green-striped knitted tie. I haven’t seen too many knitted ties and this one is quite nice. It’ll look great with a colored shirt for the holidays.
Step 2: Accessorize!!
The next item in the box is an accessory you don’t see too often anymore… a lapel pin! This handmade floral lapel pin from John Harris Swedish Design ($10) is made from microfiber. There are several colors available and we received the red one. Sorry but I tried to find the website but it appeared to be down.
Step 3: Dress the feet!
Our next item is a nice pair of dress socks from Deadsoxy ($25). We received the Crawford design. It is a purple striped dress sock. It is just enough to give your outfit a little pizazz. They are soft and in a color I like….I think I may just keep these. LOL!
He loves the comfort the socks have and says they are really soft.
Step 4: Accessorize again!!
We received a Pocket Square from Melbourne Dapper ($19). Just in case you do not know what a pocket square is, it is a handkerchief that is kept in the breast pocket of a suit jacket. You usually see the older men wearing them. It will be great to see the dapper style come back. This one is red in color with a nice paisley design. It will go great with the tie and lapel pin.
End result: ????
Other than needing a hair cut, I think overall he looks great but I may be a bit biased.
My son loves this box and I love seeing him dapper up in the items. Who doesn’t like a well dressed man?

Don’t they always need a haircut? I liked the box but everything seemed a little bit color coordinated but the socks. I don’t like matchy matchy but I do like coordinated colors. Good looking boy.
Thank you. I like coordinated items. But I love Funky socks!! My son absolutely loves this box as it helps dress in the style he likes. He loves dressing up in his suit. He is an old soul in a young body. He is like me and loves history and antiques.
