The theme this December is Variegation Madness! This subscription is uneven about including a theme card (your subscription is personalized). I don’t think we’ll need it for 2017 – with complementary colors it’s sure to be obvious!

Painters Threads Collection Monet Au Ver a Soie ($7.50) This Soie D’Alger is 7 stranded and delicious! There’s quite a bit of variation here but mine mostly settles down into the green, but some examples of this colorway are more red and yellow! This stitches very well, I’m super happy with it!
Weeks Dye Works Raspberry Tart Cotton Floss ($2.40) I can’t ever be cranky about a good Weeks Dye Works! I particularly like this colorway because it’s very different hues of the same color.
Caron Wildflowers Cameo Cotton ($2.95) This one looks perfect for a sort of early 70s nostalgia piece or maybe something with a southwestern vibe! Single-stranded, you can use 1-2 threads depending on your ground.
Week Dye Works Foxglove Cotton Floss ($2.50) I can’t imagine what to stitch with this, but I’m feeling perhaps a little inspired to do this year-long weekly SAL (suggested by StitchyBox). Seems like an amazing stashbuster! Have I found my new year’s resolution? Maybe!
Dinky-Dyes Kiah Hand Dyed Silk Floss ($4.50) This is super beautiful. I’m not sure what to use it on yet, but I’m feeling unicorn mane with this one!
I think this was a really fun edition of Just the Threads! Not only do I totally get my fill of stashy goodness, I’m always excited to see a StitchyBox newsletter in my inbox nowadays. They’ve really been working hard to connect the stitching community!
