BodyBox is lifestyle subscription box created by BroadBox filled with shaving products for women. They offer name brand products women regularly buy for shaving, at lower or comparative prices than stores, and include bonus surprise goodies to help brighten these mundane items women have to buy out of necessity.
There are three different options in the boxes:
- The Essential Box, which sends the minimum of the razors and shave gel
- The Standard Box, which sends the minimum and two handpicked items from Bodybox
- The Favorite Box, which sends the razors, shave gel, and lotion along with 4 handpicked extras.

When first opening the box, I saw a note glued to the inside of the lid as shown above and all of my products were wrapped in some nice thick teal tissue paper and sealed with a sticker as shown below. I love when a box keeps all my items sealed and secure for travel.
When I peeled away the tissue paper, I got to see all my items. When signing up you get to select your choice of razor, shave gel, and lotion. They have a couple choices that are subject to change but with the essential items like this, I was pleased with my options.
Gillette Satin Care Shave Gel ($6.24) – I’m a shave gel girl when I shave my legs. This is already up in my bathroom ready to go.
Gillette Embrace Razor ($8.72) – A 5 blade razor with exchangeable heads. This is a great razor that I have used before and have always had great results.
Nivea Smooth Sensation Body Lotion ($3.39 each when buying 4 pack) – We’ve had a heat wave here the last couple of days but the cold weather is coming back and I’m always reaching for a lotion to sooth my dry skin.
Fizzy Bath Bomb – My family is currently obsessed with baths and bath bombs. This will be great for a day when I can relax in the tub and read my book. I’ve been trying to take a bath at least once a week for relaxing and I can’t wait to use this one.
Hask Keratin Protein Conditioner ($19.99 for a 12 pack) – This is a perfect extra for me. My hair has been so dry lately that I need to do some deep conditioners on it.
Celam Honey Face Mask – This mask will help retain moisture in the skin and remove impurities from the pores. I love a good face mask but I can’t stand anything honey so I’ll be passing this on to a friend.
Barkthins Dark Chocolate Almond With Sea Salt ($12.99 pack of 4) – I’m never going to shy away from getting chocolate in a ladies box and this is no exception. My mom is here visiting and she has already called dibs on this one for our TV watching tonight.
This was my first BodyBox and I’m very happy with it. It’s a great box for those of us that are just crazy busy in our lives and need one less thing to remember on our plate. Shaving items are some of those items that I always forget to get when at the store and the I have to make another trip or as is the case most of the time just not shave. I’ll tell you that right now with it being winter I have a nice layer of fur growing on my legs which is not an appealing look so this came at a perfect time. Getting new supplies each month will help out that problem tremendously.
