Treatsie is an artisan sweets sampler box that includes amazing gourmet sweets from 3 different small, independent confectioners, which change every month. Items you may receive include candies, chocolates, cookies, and other sugary delights and boxes will have “up to a $25” value. Subscriptions are $19.95 a month or save when you sign up for a longer term.
DEAL: Treatsie’s gift deals are back (up to 3 free months!). Or if you want to try out one box there are two ways to save – get $10 off with HS10 or free double the sweets with coupon DOUBLESWEETS
TIP: Without a good deal on this box you are effectively paying $4-5 per treat, so we do recommend subscribing for a longer term for the best (yummy) value!
My box was missing the product information card so let me jump right to the goodies! Kyya makes small-batch bean to bar chocolate in Arkansas such as the Uganda Single Origin 33.3% Milk Chocolate Bar ($6). This wasn’t the smoothest bar of chocolate but it was delicious and sweet!
I’m not much of a marshmallow fan but the S’mores from Tumbador ($4) offers a sophisticated take on this campfire classic. Smooth 72% dark chocolate covers a crispy graham cracker and chewy marshmallow. It says it has caramel too but I couldn’t detect it. I bet it would be over the top if I heated it for a few seconds in the microwave.
My favorite item was this Crumby Bar from Tumbador Chocolate. I couldn’t find it on their site but it’s probably priced similarly to the S’mores, so $4? This has smooth, rich milk chocolate (although the ingredients say dark chocolate) and some kind of crunchy cookie bits (the ingredients say organic wheat flour, water, sea salt, and butter). I prefer milk chocolate and as you can see, this is much lighter in color than the S’mores shown above. Yum!
The next two items are from Treatsie and I couldn’t find them for sale online. I received 4 of The Sugar Stash Sour Evergreen Trees which were covered in sugar and super sour citric acid. The green gummy had a fruity but non-distinct flavor and my kids will surely enjoy these.
Next, there were 6 cubes of The Sugar Stash Gingerbread Fudge which had a consistency between a caramel and fudge. The flavor was sweet and the cardamom added a slightly spicy touch along with some grit from the ground up bits of spice.
This was my first box from Treatsie and from what I gather it never has a terribly high value but it’s always a sweet taste discovery, plus two of the items were appropriate for the holidays! My favorite find was the products from Tumbador and I adore anything with great tasting chocolate!
Did you get Treatsie this month? Did you get the same items? What was your favorite?

Just wondering if anyone has received a February, March, or April box? (Asking this in early May.) The company’s Facebook page has been scrubbed of complaints and critical messages and I see lots of negative reviews on various sites.
Nope. We received our January box in mid-March.
DO not order from Treatsie! Have not seen a box in 3 months! They will also not reply to your mails. No where to call.
Lsa, I finally received a box today and I hope you get yours soon!
I did as well! Three items in the box and I enjoyed them. Now to see if we get Feb and March box!
Has anyone gotten the January 2017 box?Email said it would go out 1/9 or 1/10 and mine has yet to be sent.
No not yet. Email last week saying it was going out 2/9 or 2/10. I really don’t know what’s going on except that the person they lost (left their job) was pretty crucial to the process. I am hoping they recover – they have had a good solid box for many years.
