My box was shipped from Canada and was securely wrapped in plastic and had customs stickers on the outside. Everything on the inside looked great and was tucked into white paper squiggles. I received 5 products in the December box.

I love it when companies let you know what you got! Plus, it tells you how you can win a free box by leaving a review.

There was a catalog with info about one of the brands featured this month and a card with a coupon code for one of the other products.

Pretty Woman Sequins Kit ($7.99) reminds me of work (I’m a preschool teacher) and I always say it’s been a good day when I come home covered in glitter! This brand is 5-free, vegan, and cruelty-free.

This kit includes a pot of glitter, a base coat (don’t use as a top coat or the sequins will discolor), and a cleaning brush.

That’s a lot of glitter! I might use this for New Year’s Eve to make myself feel festive.

The Pure Anada Cosmetics Duo Eye Brush ($9 CAD, about $6.71 USD) has a shorter handle than I am used to but it gives better control. This vegan brush has a bamboo handle and features a shadow brush on one side and a fine liner brush on the other.

Here’s a close-up of those applicators.

The Mixologist by Au Naturale Cosmetics  ($25) can be used in a few different ways:

  1. It can be worn as is for a slightly shiny finish.
  2. It can be mixed with your other lipsticks to create all new shades.
  3. It can be applied as a highlighter to your cheeks, nose, cupid’s bow, browbone, etc!

This lipstick is filled with various oils and butters such as shea, castor, jojoba, and sweet almond. I thought it was a little too mod looking on my lips by itself but it did make a change in some of my darker lipstick shades!

Province Apothecary Full Brow Serum ($36) can be applied twice daily to encourage fuller brows and deepen their color, naturally. This serum is full of essential oils along with castor and jojoba seed oils, argan oil, and vitamin E. The scent is relaxing, invigorating, and medicinal all at the same time!

I didn’t get a chance to try St. Tropica Organic Coconut Hot Oil Hair Mask ($5) since I used a similar product already this week and my super fine hair can only take so much moisturizing. Plus, it’s such a huge sample, I plan on sharing with both of my daughters. Organic coconut oil, butter, and extract are blended with biotin, horsetail, amla, hibiscus, and green tea and should be heated before being applied to dry hair and left on for 20 minutes.

I thought this month’s S&G Beauty Box was both festive and restoring. The hair mask will come in handy to deal with overworked hair and the lipstick is very versatile. Plus, my nails are going to SHINE on New Years! My box had a value of $80.70, which is incredible for a green beauty box!
