PopSugar Must Have Cozy Home Mystery Box December 2016

Here are the items in my PopSugar Must Have Cozy Home Mystery Box ($24.95). I was amazed at all the items included in the box.

Three by Three JotBlock Lined Notepad

The Three By Three Seattle Lined Notepad ($6) is from the August Mini Box. The adorable rainbow lined pad even has a place to store the pen.  We go through lots of notepads in my household, and this pad will be useful.

Ridley Games Who Am I?

The Wild & Wolf Ridley’s Games Room “Who Am I?” ($11) from the June Box will be a fun addition to our household. I think the boys will be able to guess at most of the people if paired with us old folks. We love playing games at our house.

Flint Lint Roller

Lint Rollers are a big part of our lives because of the cats and dogs. The Flint Lint Roller ($10) from the September Box has been claimed by the older son who liked the elegant look. It will have a short lifespan.

Yellow Owl Workshop Festive Rubber Stamp Kit

Our eight-year-old son is excited about the Yellow Owl Workshop Festive Rubber Stamp Kit ($19.50) from the December Mini Box. He plans to create his own cards using the stamps.

Henri Bendel Packable Umbrella

It often rains where I live, and umbrellas are a necessity of life. The Henri Bendel Packable Umbrella ($58) from the October Box will be kept in the car as an umbrella of last resort because it lacks a push button.

Bauble Bar Snowflake Pendant

The Baublebar Snowfall Pendant ($28) from the December Box was the one item that I was hoping not to receive. I already have one from the December box and am unable to find anyone that appreciates the minimalist necklace style.

My Cup of Cocoa Dark Drinking Chocolate

The My Cup of Cocoa Dark Drinking Chocolate ($4.99) from the October Box is the real deal. My sister can’t wait to try out the gluten-free drink.

Toffee Butter Popcorn

The Oogie’s Snacks Gourmet Toffee Butter Popcorn ($2.99) from the November Box will be a decadent treat enjoyed by my sister. The natural gluten-treat will satisfy her taste buds.

MeriMeri Garland and Toothpicks

J (8) can’t wait to bring the Meri Meri Mini Gold Star Garland ($10) from the November Mini Box and the Meri Meri Star Party Picks ($8) from the November Box to his aunt’s house. He had a blast using the toothpicks for Thanksgiving and is excited to have more. He is planning to use the garland for decoration.

PEHR Chambray Runner and AJ Goods Nest Wire Bowl

I saved the best for last! I almost bought a second November Box because I loved the  PEHR Chambray Runner in Wine ($44) and the AJ Goods Nest Wire Bowl ($35).  The runner looked gorgeous when used for our Thanksgiving meal. We’ve been using the Nest Wire Bowl for apples. Now I have a back-up runner and another snack bowl. I will be using this bowl for oranges and bananas. Those two items made the box for me!

In Original packaging

The items came in its original packaging and giftable. I unwrapped the bowl and the runner before snapping this photo.

The Cozy Home POPSUGAR Mystery Box is the most family-friendly version that I have received. The boys are happy with their finds. I am very happy with the runner and bowl. Even my husband wants to take the bowl for his own use. It’s a great variety of items that spanned over a multiple of mini and regular size boxes from 2016. The value came to around $240.00 which is outstanding.

PA Anna I would be so excited to receive my box. Pop Sugar HAS LIED TO ME CONTINUALLY TODAY! I have contacted them because I received tracking for my box on the 18th showing I would receive the box TODAY. However, as of today ONLY a LABEL has been created and my box is stuck at their warehouse in NY. I have contacted FEDEX and spoke with them TWICE today. I sent them a copy of my updated FedEX tracking and they told me it was not updated. PSMH CSR, Andy, keeps sending me the link to my tracking and his last email stated my tracking would be updated soon. I just spoke with FedEX again and they DO NOT SHOW my BOX in their SYSTEM at all. It is STILL at PSMH WAREHOUSE. I have messaged them and posted on FB and I keep getting the run around and “pass the buck” attitude. I just bought several boxes as Christmas gifts and this was one of them. I purchased a Fashion and Beauty box as well. I received the September and December box that was offered on Black Friday with Gilt City with NO PROBLEMS. The mystery boxes were charged to my account. I work in transportation and logistics and the company I work for processes millions of monthly subs for various companies and so I know what takes place in the processing, especially this time of year. PSMH did not plan well for this fiasco and it shows. The subscription I signed up for as one of the deals I will promptly cancel. I will be going out later today to purchase gifts as replacements for these 2 boxes that I will NOT receive for Christmas without someone in upper level managment at PSMH interceding on my behalf. As a new customer this is alarming as it is a direct reflection of how poorly PSMH thinks of their customers as their clients. If others are having these same issues I would like to know. Can Brandy check into this for those of us who have been left hanging by their broken promises. Thanks. Merry Christmas and I enjoy reading your comments PA Anna.

Hi Starlet – I emailed my contact at POPSUGAR to ask them to look into it. I am hoping a box for you appears somehow.

      • Starlet

THANK YOU BRANDY!!!!!! YOU ROCK, YOU ARE THE BEST EVER!!!!!! I do believe that without your intercession I would not be receiving my box. FedEX has picked up my box at 8:44PM last night and it is currently in transit. I will receive it by tomorrow. THANK YOU! THANK YOU! If you look below at my comments for PA Anna you will see the snipey way they replied to me yesterday. This is what I received this morning on FB, “Hi Starlet – we have contacted the shipper (FedEx) on your behalf. They have in fact picked it up from our facility which is why you see an estimated delivery date, however it’s been lost in transit. We’ll go ahead and send you a new shipment that will go out via 2-day so you get it by the 24th.” I am still bothered by their lack of accountability about the box not being picked up by FedEX. (Losing boxes when being picked up from the warehouse is a very rare occurence.) MERRY MERRY CHRISTMAS BRANDY! You are a blessing and have blessed me substantially!

    • PA Anna

Starlet, I hope your box shows up in time. It sounds frustrating. Sending good vibes that Brandy is able to work some Christmas magic. Merry Christmas and thank you for reading 🙂

      • Starlet

I received a private message last night from PSMH. This is the reply I received. “Starlet – I don’t think you’re understanding us. We are sending you a completely different shipment that will be expedited so you receive it by the 24th since FedEx lost your package in transit.” FedEX assured me it was never received and this came directly from someone very high up. What is truly disturbing to me is PSMH lack of accountability in all of this and how their CSRs are trained. All previous emails and messages did not state they were re-sending anything. They apparently sent me another message that did not show up in my messaging stating they were sending a replacement until this morning.

        • PA Anna

it all sounds incredibly frustrating. I am glad that Brandy was able to assist you in receiving your box before Christmas.

          • Starlet

Thank you once again Brandy and PA Anna, I am glad to report that I received my Cozy Home box today. I received a variation as NO jewelry is included in my box…it included the WIre bowl, the Pehr table runner, the rubber stamp set, the Who Am I? game, the dark chocolate drink mix, the morning culture coffee cup, tags for parcels and gifts, the Christian LaCroix sticky notes, the Meri Meri picks and garland and the umbrella. It is a rather substantial box and came just in time for the coffee mug and drink mix, the table runner and wire bowl to be gifted to others. You helped to make my Christmas a merry one. I now hope that my Fashion and Beauty box is just as wonderful and I have my fingers crossed that I will get the kendra scott bracelet, a baublebar necklace, nail polish and a hat. I love the hat and am a big fan of the Smith and Cult nail polish. MERRY CHRISTMAS!

  • Katy

This Home Box variation is actually pretty nice. I didn’t get a Home box but I did breakdown and ordered one of the Fashion and Beauty boxes and I was mostly happy with it. I do have to say that it was really disappointing that the highest valued item was $58 ugly, branded umbrella that doesn’t even have a push button and I only got one piece of jewelery but it was the pretty Kendra Scott bracelet with the white stone so Im very happy with it at least.

    • PA Anna

The Kendra Scott bracelet is beautiful. I almost ordered the Fashion and Beauty box in hopes of receiving one to gift. I’m glad that you mostly liked your box.

    Starlet,
It’s so funny that an interaction with the same CSR can be so completely different. I’m still waiting for two December boxes and the Neiman Marcus box. The December box situation was quickly resolved and they are on their way. But, the NM box required more “research”. Andy (I don’t know if it is the same one) helped me and he was AWESOME! He was kind and polite. It did take one more day to rectify the problem. However, the end result of here boxes with tracking (before Christmas) has been achieved. Sorry you had such a difficult time!
