Petit Vour is a monthly vegan beauty subscription box sending the “crème de la cruelty-free.” For only $15 per month you receive four cruelty-free and non-toxic beauty products, mostly deluxe sample sized but with the occasional full-sized item. Subscriptions are available in 1, 3, 6, or 12-month terms and all items are sans the “Dirty Thirty” and of course free of all animal derived products.

The information card gave details of each item. You can purchase the full sizes in the Petit Vour Store and you also earn points for rating your items which can then be used in the store (you also earn points on shop purchases and for referring a friend!). Have you ever wanted to build your own sample box? Petit Vour sells samples so you can basically build your own box!

Juice Beauty PHYTO-PIGMENTS Luminous Lip Crayon (color may vary, $22) is available in 8 shades named after California beaches. Malibu is a nude pink and I certainly felt a summery, laid-back vibe with this lippie since it didn’t give much color payoff but did leave my lips feeling soft and smooth. Sunflower, castor, and jojoba seed oils are moisturizing while rose, moringa, eggplant, and eclipta daisy provide the “phyto-pigments”.

Here’s Malibu swatched several times on my arm. I’m putting this in my purse for touch ups on the go, no mirror necessary.

Shamanuti Activated Charcoal Cleanser ($10) is great for all skin types but especially for faces with rosacea or eczema or sensitive skin. The charcoal absorbs gunk while maple extract gently exfoliates. Squirt into hands, add a bit of water and apply to face before rinsing. This cleanser can also be used as a body wash or shave cream. I’m going to see if it can help reduce the redness in my complexion.

Aromatherapy Associates Revive Morning Bath & Shower Oil ($3.98) made me literally say “ahhh”! This is mostly coconut oil and a laundry list of essential oils such as grapefruit, juniper, and rosemary. Rub on your body, take a few deep breaths, and then enter your bath or shower and get another blast of scent as the warm water works its magic.

I was a little reluctant to use Oille Hair Serum Volumizing Intelligence ($9.83) on my super fine hair but I took the plunge and applied it to wet hair in the shower. It was a little hard to move it around but I stuck with it for a minute before rinsing and following with a clarifying shampoo. I had no problems styling my hair and thought that it did look a little more voluminous! Here’s some of the ingredients and what they are supposed to do:

Passion Fruit seed oil – encourages growth

Rosemary essential oil – stimulates hair

Bamboo extract – removes hair buildup

Vitamin E – nourishes hair strands

Ylang Ylang essential oil – maintains growth

Cedarwood essential oil – increases volume

I was pleasantly surprised by my results!

I loved my December box! Petit Vour sent a nice variety of products for hair, body, and face plus makeup. I feel soft and my senses were stimulated as well with the essential oil scented items. These choices were very natural and of course, they follow the motto of Petit Vour: Be Bold. Be Kind. This month’s box had a value of around $45.81 which is 3 times the cost of the box!
