The theme for December is Winter Wonderland Cookies! It is so cold here in NC right now that we all have winter fun on the brains and these recipes all look great for a day stuck inside.

The back of the information card lists a shopping list so that you can grab all the ingredients you need for each recipe.

Everything in our December KidStir box.

First recipe is for Snowball Truffles. The recipe came with some gift tags that my boys and I will be cutting out for presents to give.

Each recipe includes a list of ingredients, tools required and skills that will be learned. Next up, you will get step by step instructions for how to make the recipe. This one doesn’t have a lot of steps to it so they all fit on one page.

Other pages include fun little notes, information on the included extras and even crafts you can make that go along.

With the recipes going in our binder they finish off with a fun game to play while also learning some snowflake facts.

The second recipe is for some cookies to go with your hot cocoa. I’m a bit obsessed with hot chocolate so these will be a great addition. I’m in love with the little star cookie cutters and I can’t wait to use them for this and other cookie recipes.

The final and third recipe for December was for Snowflake Shortbread cookies and icing. They sent a great icing bag with so many fun tips to use with it. My son will love this as it seems messy but isn’t too messy so we can all have a fun and tasty time.

Another great KidStir box with the perfect wintertime recipes.  Sweets are always welcome in our house and being able to create our own is a blast. My boys and I will start out baking for winter soon these will all come is so handy and make it so much fun.  I can’t wait to try the pastry bag and my son is already to use the cookie cutters. I’m getting excited just thinking about all the fun we will have.

Have you cooked with KidStir? What is your favorite wintertime cookie recipe?
