All Girl Shave Club is an up-and-coming subscription box that will send you items to make your hair-removing ritual a girly girl treat! I don’t have a lot of information to share yet but it looks like this subscription will be bi-monthly and will start at $10 a month. Sign-up now to be notified when subscriptions are open and to get a chance to win a free box!

I could tell this wasn’t going to be my husband’s razor subscription by the beautiful robin’s egg blue colored box and pink and blue razor handle. There wasn’t any information card or papers in the box so I watched a little video by the founder to see what I could expect in this and future boxes.

There was a screen-printed canvas bag that had the company logo on the bottom along with a cute saying. This bag is bigger than a standard makeup or Ipsy bag and would be perfect for holding items in a larger tote or as a travel makeup bag.

I adored the feminine colors of the razor handle and loved that it felt solid and not flimsy in my hand. I may be a woman but I need something substantial to grip and this isn’t like those disposable Daisy razors from the grocery store. I also received 4 razor cartridges to get me through the next eight weeks.

Here’s the razor assembled and ready for use. It was easy to attach the blades to the razor and to switch cartridges.

These razors have 5 blades for a close shave and are similar in size to a Venus razor. One difference between this and the Venus (and other razors) is the absence of a moisturizing strip but I don’t really like those strips anyways because I feel like they keep me from getting a close shave. I used this on my underarms this morning and when I jumped in the shower to rinse, I felt a little discomfort at first but unlike with the Bic Soleil razors I didn’t have a red razor rash afterwards. I just applied my deodorant and got on with my day.

The All Girl Shave Club will include items to make your bath or shaving time feel like a spa experience and they are off to a wonderful start with the Rustic Soap Shoppe Winter Berry Whipped Soap ($7.99). This pink bit of fluff looks like something that belongs on a cupcake but just a teaspoon or so lathers into a creamy soap that smells sweet and luscious.

The Winter Berry scent reminded me of cherry vanilla plus the sugar gently exfoliates. So fluffy! So girly! So hard not to lick!

I really enjoyed my first All Girl Shave Club box! The razor was better than the ones at the store and the whipped soap is luxurious and a perfect addition to this box. I’m not sure if any of these items will be available à la carte but for $10 every other month it is even less expensive than a drug store razor. For comparison purposes, a Gillette Venus Swirl 5-Blade Razor from Target with a handle and two cartridges is $12.99 and a four cartridge refill pack costs $17.19. That makes this box sound better and better to me.

Note: As this is a pre-launch box and the wording says “starts at $10 a month” I am not exactly sure what might be included in that $10 price or if there will be different tiers to choose from when the subscription opens. Please keep that in mind when subscribing!
