Craftly is a monthly subscription box that sends 4-5 high-quality and unique lifestyle items from various categories such as art, tech, snacks, grooming products, home goods, and more. It is $25 and shipping is free to the U.S. You also have the option to send this as a gift. The subscription will automatically renew until you cancel.

Note: Starting in January, Craftly will become bi-monthly and the price will change to $29.95 per box.

This month’s theme is “Wild.” Think hiking in a forest.

The product information gave a description of the items included, retail price, and where to find more. Craftly sent 4 items for the month of December.

I felt like I was opening a present when I unwrapped Formulary 55 Bourbon & Vanilla Guest Soap ($5). This isn’t plain old vanilla; it is rich, sweet, and a touch tropical. Made in small batches with saponified coconut oil, sustainable palm oil, and shea butter along with phthalate-free fragrance oils and essential oils.

This soap was smooth and well scented. The scent didn’t last too long and was agreeable to me!

I received Pair of Thieves Socks in Sigourney Woven for women ($10) (some subscribers will receive The Great Outdoors for men).

Oh. My. Goodness. These socks are so comfortable! A lot of times the part up near my calves is too tight and cuts off my circulation but these fit perfectly well! Plus they have cute names like “Tailor Swift” and “Katy Pairy.”

I couldn’t find Barnaby Black Winter Fir Lodge Spray ($30 according to product card) but there were similar items that sold for $40. This spray that can be used in the air or on your body is made with “100% wild foraged aromatics” and lists organic sugar cane alcohol, live plant infusions, tree pitch/resins, and steam distilled essential oils as its ingredients. This is a rather dark color so I preferred to spray it on my arm rather than in the air and sure enough, I smelled like a pine tree! Luckily I didn’t smell like Pine-Sol, more like a fir tree that’s in the middle of a forest somewhere near a campfire.

What a decadent chocolate bar! Ritual Chocolate Fleur de Sel Dark Chocolate with Sea Salt Bar ($8) is from a company that makes small-batch chocolate in Park City, Utah. Tasting notes include strawberry, fudge, and sea salt.

There was even a wine pairing suggestion!

This was superb dark chocolate! I didn’t really taste the salt but strangely enough, I did taste berries! This was super smooth, silky, and fruity.

I loved my December Craftly Box! This box had a value of $53, which is above their goal of $40+. Craftly has really stepped up their game this month and last and I have loved the November and December boxes. I felt like this box was for someone who enjoys tasteful, small-batch items. Some of the past boxes seemed very juvenile but this one was perfect for my tastes!

Note: The theme for the January/February box will be “Awake.” I have really enjoyed the past two boxes and hope that I can expect to see boxes with similar items in the future.
