Comic Bento has announced a price increase for all plans starting on 1/2 at noon eastern, raising the price by $5 per month for all plans.

The Comic Bento December theme is MIGHTY!
[We] are doing a Publisher Spotlight on the one and only House of Ideas, MARVEL COMICS.
Now, this is significant because in the past we have done Publisher Spotlights and it’s gotten, shall we say, mixed reviews. Some people love them because they put a light to Publishers that may not get as much attention in pop culture and convey some of their best Characters and ideas to new eyes. Other subscribers though feel that limiting the box to one Publisher takes away some of the variety that they have come to love about Comic Bento.
The funny thing about is us when you talk, we listen. So, starting with our MIGHTY box, Publisher Spotlights will contain at least two books by the Featured publisher, but also 2-3 other books by others. So, in essence, it’s the best of both worlds; Variety and a chance to celebrate some of our favourite Publishers.
Publisher Spotlight boxes will also feature some fun stuff involving said publisher (Marvel, in case you missed it) such as Marvel-themed giveaways, social media contests and games and, in this case, a Mega-Bento hand-picked by Marvel SVP David Gabriel.*
So, it’s nice to wrap up 2016 with something new. There’s lots of fund stuff coming down the pipe in 2017, but we’ll get to that. Eventually.
