November’s Cocotique!
HSI Professional Argan Oil Infused Thermal Protector ($5.00): This doubles as a conditioning serum and heat protector. Use on hair before heat styling for protection up to 450° F. This is also nice for finishing styles and added a quick shine boost. I can say that I noticed the shine effects with this (the extra shine highlighted my grays ?). It also has a nice scent and left my hair soft.
giovanni Eco Chic Hair Care Direct Leave-In Weightless Moisture Conditioner ($2.11): This conditioner has lots of good ingredients in it and is designed to repair hair throughout the day. Some of the ingredients in this are Vitamin E, pro-Vitamin B5, and aloe. This worked well to detangle my curls and left my hair feeling healthy.
Sweet Nature Ooh La La Hydrating Hair Glaze ($5.25): This hair glaze is supposed to nourish hair and soothe the scalp. I’m torn on it. It felt heavy and like a pomade on the hair around my crown. However, it was nice on the ends of my hair where I have some damage. I don’t have scalp issues, so I didn’t notice a difference there. The jasmine scent is nice and not overpowering.
Leaders Coconut Gel Moisturizing Recovery Mask ($5.99): Y’all know me, I love a good mask. But, I’m passing this one on. It’s for dry/rough skin and wrinkles, and I’m an oily-combination skin girl. Peptides and amino acids work to reduce the appearance of fine lines and nourish skin. This mask was also in the March Cocotique box.
Makari 24K Or Rose Lightening Serum ($8.45): Talk about pricey – the full 1.35 oz size of this is over $80! This serum contains actual gold flakes, which is a huge cosmetics trend at the moment. Although, the verdict is still out on how beneficial it is. Regardless of that, this serum contains a proteinase inhibitor to prevent premature aging and a melanin inhibiting compound to tackle dark spots/discoloration. I think it’s too early in my use to notice any effects yet.
The CRÈME Shop Eyelashes ($4.00): These extra long lashes are made from 100% human hair. I have not mastered wearing falsies, so these are going to my sister. The information sheet has these listed at $4, but the Cocotique site has them at $3.
The November Cocotique box comes in around $30. There was a strong focus on hair in this box and a previous item repeat (fan favorite, maybe?). Personally, I prefer when Cocotique has more product variety. I hope the December box ends the year with a bang.
