BuddhiBox is a monthly box meant to enhance yoga practice and encourage healthy living. BuddhiBox is $34.95/month for a curated mix of 4-6 samples and full-size products. This is a great box for anyone that is new to yoga or even those who are dedicated yogis. Each month, a portion of their sales goes to supporting an amazing cause. December’s charity is StandUp For Kids, a national non-profit charity that continuously strives to provide life-saving and outreach services to homeless, street kids and at-risk youth

The Box is sooo pretty! I’m happy to say that both DHL and Canada Post were nice enough to put the shipping stickers on the side of the box, so no hiding the beautiful mandala!

Everything in the box.

Every box starts with a quote. I love meaningful quotes. They make me stop for a moment and think. The back of the cards describes everything in the box and their value.

There’s no specific theme for this box, but all the items look nice and feel right for the season. Great fact: on the info card, the items are marked when they are vegan, cruelty-free and/or organic.

Orglamix – Lip and cheek tint. First of, a disclaimer. I know nothing about make-up, but I love love love the color of this tint. It feels good on the lips and gives a bit of sparks, thanks to the mica in the ingredients. And the tint stays on the lips, and not on my drinking glass. I usually don’t wear make-up, but I’ve been using this tint every day since I’ve received it. It’s just so fun!

Bear’s Beauty Sugar Lips Peppermint Scrub. It tastes like Candy Cane! This is a little sweetness added to the box for the Holiday Season. I have very dry lips in winter, no matter how much lip balm I’m using, so this is a nice tasty refresher for them! My lips felt soft for a while after using it, and it’s the perfect size to carry around throughout the Holiday Season!

TeaPigs – Peppermint tea. Christmas Season and New Year’s Celebrations are the perfect time to indulge in a lot of food, wine and/or late night, so a caffeine free drink is great to appease the stomach. And the taste of pure peppermint leaves is exactly what I need to survive the Holidays. I love peppermint tea, and this will be great to relax, enjoy a taste of the season, and remind me to slow down and take time for myself. I’m happy to get a whole bag so I can share a cup of tea with others.

Pure Candle Company – Gratitude Candle. Very woody and fresh, like when you walk in a northern forest with a lot of pine tree and cedar tree. I like that it goes so well with the season without indulging in the peppermint or cinnamon or orange scents that are so widespread!

BuddhiBox – Sparkling Mala. This such a nice mala! I’m used to the round gemstone or wood beads type of mala, so this was a nice little sparkled mala to add to that nice black dress for a boho-chic look. The green thread is really pretty seen through the smoky beads and the tassel is extra long! So keep the yogi vibe strong while enjoying that office party!

Amazing Grass – Chocolate Peanut Butter bar. This one will go to a family member as the house is a peanut-free zone.

Bonus Item!

SkinYoga – Coffee Body Scrub. From their website

The caffeine enhances fat metabolism and removes liquid and fat from your skin, ultimately reducing the appearance of cellulite and stretch marks. The natural oil moisturizes and nourishes your skin. This scrub also treats inflammation and protects your skin from sun damage.

I tried it on my legs, and it’s so fun to play with coffee mud on the skin! Although I need to use it in the shower from now one, as it can be quite messy.

Every month, a recipe is included in the box. This month’s is an Earl Grey Maple Hot Chocolate. Sounds perfect for the end of a meal little treat, but I’ll skip on trying it as I don’t like Earl Grey tea or chocolate. But I enjoy this addition to the box, it gives us something that lasts longer than the content!

Halasan Plow Pose Card: this looks oddly comfortable! I’m looking forward to get there!

The back of the card explains how to get into that position, and the benefits of the position. I love getting these yogicards in the box. It gives a focus for the month, something to work on.

December’s box was a blast! I’m happy to get a fancy new mala, and everything makes you feel you’ve been cared for over the Holidays. It’s a box that says you CAN take time to take care of yourself, even in a super busy time. You really get something for the body, mind, and soul. I also like that the box takes you a bit further with a recipe (that you can make over and over again) and with giving back to a charity (the StandUp For Kids charity for December).

Namasté!
