Pittsburgh Gift Shop‘s Black N Gold Fan Box is the subscription box for Pittsburgh Steelers fans. The fan box includes five to eight licensed Pittsburgh Steeler items and black and gold items that are worth more than the price of the box. T-shirts and gender-based items may be included at times. Select the recipient’s gender, select shirt size from small to XXL, and select your subscription billing of monthly, 3, 6, or 12 months. The monthly subscription box price is $39.95 with free shipping and goes down to $28.00 a box with free shipping when selecting the 12-month prepay.
Everyone in the family gathered around when I opened the box. They agreed it was off to a good start when they saw the towel.
Here are the items in the November Black N Gold Fan Box. My husband and sons waited impatiently while I took the items out of the box.
The Pittsburgh Steelers Utility Work Gloves ($9.99) were a big hit with my husband. My husband was trying on the officially licensed gloves before I snapped one photo. He plans to wear them while running because it matches his Steelers sweatshirt. I asked if he had anything to add to the review. His response was that people need to know the team is pronounced as the Stillers, not the Steelers. Pittsburgh has its own language n’at.
I had a difficult time finding the Steelers Fan Towel (appx $10.00) online because the Terrible Towel is what everyone waves at the games. My husband plans to display the licensed towel in the bathroom or kitchen. He plans to admire it, not use it 🙂
The licensed Steelers Tall Shot Glass (appx $8.00) has the Steelers logo on it. My husband can’t decide to display it or use it. He enjoys displaying Steeler items.
Take your tailgating party to a new level with the Steelers Premium Coasters 10 pack ($8.48). They are made out of a heavy-duty cardboard type material. We will use them during the next Steelers game.
The Steelers Oval Sticker ($1.00) has been claimed by J (age 8) and placed on his wall. It’s nice that a fun item was included that he could enjoy.
T (age 17) claimed the Black and Gold Sunglasses ($7.99 sticker price) right away. They remind me of souvenir sunglasses from the gift shop. He does not care because all three Pittsburgh professional sports team share the same colors – black and gold. It’s a fan thing.
My family loved the November Black N Gold Fan Box. They were eager to open it and use the items right away. My husband loves his Steeler gloves and towel. My older son is happy with his sunglasses. J was able to add a Steelers sticker to his sticker collection. The coasters and shot glass will be used during the games. The value came to around $44.00 which is above the price of the box as promised. It’s an excellent box for Steeler fans around the country. It also makes a great gift for the hard to buy Steelers fan.
