The November box theme was “Gratitude” and the products included are from brands that give back, whether a percentage or dollar amount of their profits.

The information card gave details on each item and how they might be used as well as the retail price.

There was a bonus sample included of a brightening facial cleanser.

First up was Boxed Water  (92¢), which donates 1% of their annual revenue to 1% For The Planet, a company that works to help with reforestation and world water relief. I am very picky about my water and drink bottled water exclusively. This one passed my picky test!

I liked YumButter Superfood Cashew Butter ($6.99). I ate it by the spoonful but then remembered that I made myself sick when I tried that with Trader Joe’s Cookie Butter so I switched to squeezing it into celery sticks. I also shared some with my friend who said it was gritty but once she spread it on a rice cake she said she couldn’t really tell.

Along with the cashews, this organic concoction also includes goji berries, hemp hearts, chia seeds, and coconut sugar. Plus, they donate to BuyOne¦FeedOne, and every purchase helps feed a malnourished child and their mother.

MantraBand offers simple bracelets with uplifting messages. I received the silver-toned stainless steel with the saying “Live Laugh Love” ($25). MantraBand also donates to 1% For The Planet.

Pretty, simple, and elegant.

Dr Brite Peroxide Free Teeth Whitening Pen in Mint ($20) is supposed to whiten teeth up to four shades in as little as one week. You need to apply 2-3 times a day after brushing, drying the teeth, keeping the mouth open for 2 minutes, and then waiting at least 30 minutes before eating or drinking. I’m saving this to use when I have more time to apply, such as during winter break. I just don’t have time to add it in right now and want to do this properly. Dr. Brite donates $1 for each pen sold the Breast Cancer Fund.

I love granola bars and This Bar Saves Lives Minis in Peanut Butter, Strawberry, & Sea Salt ($2.08) tasted sweet and salty, like a PB&J sandwich. Peanuts, strawberries, cranberries, oats, and puffed rice make this bar dense and chewy, plus this company helps feed children in need.

The Raven + Lily Recycled Cotton Travel Journal ($11) is made from discarded cotton and paper such as jeans, newspapers, and military tents. Proceeds from the sale of these journals help empower women in North India by giving them money for schooling and new meaning for their lives by giving them a job they can go to where they can focus on their art.

This journal is unlined and would be nice for listing things you may be grateful for at this time of year or for doodling, keeping a running shopping list, or whatever else you can think of.

This was a great box from Wellness Tribe and I liked that they featured companies that give back to charitable organizations. I was introduced to new brands and enjoyed delicious snacks while pausing to remember all that I am grateful for. The value for the November box was $66!
