Tippy Taste is a jewelry subscription box for people who love chic jewelry and want to be able to curate their own box. Choose 2 pieces per month for $32 or 3 pieces for $36. Since my last review, a few months back, Tippy Taste has changed their packaging and has a brand-themed box.
Here’s a look at the full October collection.
Have a spooktacular Halloween!
Spice up your Halloween this month with some pops of colors. Not dressing up? No worries, these sparkles are definitely hard to keep your eyes off. What are you going to dress up as this month?! Any ideas? 😉
October box is filled with four pieces put together just for you. Receive only what you pick.
From left to right:
Andromeda Drops: Lend a boho touch to your look in these polished baubles.
Celeste Cuff: A mixed of star shaped motif with a cool green bauble and Swarovski crystals gives this cuff an Art Deco vibe.
Matilda Necklace: What better way to spice up your day then with this breathtaking pendant.
Pumpkin Spice Drops: This mystical mix of dark orange and red finished with an oversized cabochon pearl will leave you looking stunning.
Everything is carefully packed in the box. There was a personalized note card, details on the month’s curation, and quote.
Since the quote was by Confucius, the box reminded me of a fortune cookie. I’m strange like that. I really liked the reminder to strive for success.
And here’s my thank you card with a personalized note. So glad that I was cautioned about the bracelet. I tend to not realize my own strength sometimes and might have broken it.
The information sheet contains the same information as the email you are sent prior to selecting pieces for your box.
And here’s my October Tippy Taste reveal!
Matilda Necklace ($19.95): This necklace features an extra long chain (tied shorter for photo purposes) with a stunning pendant. The medium stones on the pendant are a VERY pale green and the large stone is black. I love the play of soft and edgy in this piece. It is a nice statement that will go well with solid-colored tops.
Celeste Cuff ($21.00): This features Swarovski crystals in a gold tone base with an aqua colored center stone. I love the art deco, possibly Aztec, look of this piece. I’m not much of a bracelet wearer but will make an exception for this.
Pumpkin Spice Drops (19.50): These earrings are the perfect mix of fall colors and the oversized pearl on top is the icing on the cake. These are a little more on the funky side, and I like the playfulness of them. I’ll get a decent amount of wear out of them if Florida ever experiences fall weather.
My October box was valued just over $60. That’s like getting a piece for free! I liked the pieces that I received and thought they were seasonally appropriate. I’ll end up wearing the necklace and bracelet throughout the year because of their color palettes. This subscription works for me because I get to choose my pieces from a set assortment. Sometimes I love them all and can’t choose, and other times it’s easy to narrow down the field. I feel that the prices are reasonable compared to the stores that I shop in for accessories. The pieces also make nice gifts… Something to think about with the holidays just around the corner.
