MySudsyCrate is a monthly subscription box of products from The Sudsy Soapery. I reviewed the Premium Shipper Box – this option includes “your choice of two bars of soap, a half ounce bottle of essential oil and many other natural personal care products, all scented with 100% pure essential oil.” In addition to choosing your soaps, you also answer few questions when you subscribe to ensure you get personal care products you will enjoy. For example, it asks if you have facial hair and how often you soak in a bath per week.

The Premium Shipper box costs $34.95/month, with discounts for multi-month subscriptions. (There are also subscription options for a Shaving Shipper Box and a Bar Soap Shipper Box.)

Opening the box – I love the clean look of the natural-colored paper and black graphics.

And here’s a look at everything in this month’s box.  Each month’s box in the Premium Shipper Box subscription is valued at around $50.  Let’s see what I got!

Soaps: Here are my two bars of soap – I got Ian (spearmint, lavender, and almond) and Lavender and Peppermint. These are beautifully scented bars of artisan soap – I especially love the dried lavender on the Lavender and Peppermint bar. When you subscribe, you are given a wide selection of soap bars to choose from.

The soaps come wrapped in heavy brown paper. Printed on the inside of the wrapping paper, there is information about each type of soap – here the Ian Soap and its specific ingredients are indicated.

Additionally, the inside of the wrapping paper explains the ingredients commonly used in the various soap bases.  For example, the Ian soap lists a Castile base.  I really liked the aesthetics of the brown wrapping paper for the soaps, but I liked even more the way MySudsyCrate used the inside of the wrapping paper to list the ingredients for each bar.

Essential Oils: I received small vials of both lavender and peppermint essential oils, which go along perfectly with the other items in the box. When you subscribe, you are asked about your preferred essential oils (lavender, peppermint, patchouli). You can also opt out of essential oils and request that another product be substituted instead. I personally love essential oils, especially lavender for relaxing.

Candle: One of my additional items is this wonderful, full-sized aromatherapy candle. This one is lavender-scented – and again, look at that pretty dried lavender in the top of the candle. So lovely and it smells amazing – “wonderful peace” just like its name.

Bath Bomb: Keeping with the theme of this box, I received a lavender and peppermint scented bath bomb. When you subscribe, you are asked how often you “soak.” I’m personally not a big soaker, but both of my daughters are huge bath bomb fans and were super excited to see this item in the box.

I was super happy with my first experience with MySudsyCrate. I really liked the soaps (disclosure – I’m a huge artisan soap junkie) – and I really liked the wide variety of choices and the provision of the ingredients lists. The candle and the bath bomb aligned perfectly with the other items in the box – I loved the peppermint and lavender theme of the selections. Every item seemed to be high quality and I loved the little extra touches, such as the dried lavender.
