Petit Vour is a monthly vegan beauty subscription box sending the “crème de la cruelty-free.” For only $15 per month you receive four cruelty-free and non-toxic beauty products, mostly deluxe sample sized but with the occasional full-sized item. Subscriptions are available in 1, 3, 6, or 12-month terms and all items are sans the “Dirty Thirty” and of course free of all animal derived products.

The information card gave details on each item. You can purchase the full sizes in the Petit Vour Store and you also earn points for rating your items which can then be used in the store (you also earn points on shop purchases and for referring a friend!). Have you ever wanted to build your own sample box? Petit Vour sells samples so you can basically build your own box!

This was my very first Petit Vour box and right away I found two brands I have tried in the past and two new-to-me brands so I was happy to try these items right away!

I had some trouble figuring out how to work my Elate Clean Cosmetics Universal Creme ($20 CAD, $14.78 USD). I made a bit of a mess with the container because I pushed it out too far and then tried to push it back in and you can see my messy results in the final picture. This is available in 7 shades and I received “Love”, a salmon pink shade that went on smoothly on my cheeks and blended well. It was not very noticeable on my lips, though.

I’m always happy to try a product from this Austin, Texas-based business! W3LL People Realist Invisible Setting Powder ($1.50) helps set makeup, minimize pores, and control shine but left my face a little too matte. This has amazingly simple ingredients: cornstarch, aloe powder, arrowroot, silica, chamomile, and green tea.

Here are the Universal Creme and Realist Powder swatched on my inner arm. That is two swipes of the creme and I just wiped the powder on without buffing with a brush.

I applied a few drops of We Love Eyes Tea Tree Eyelid & Eyelash Makeup Remover ($6) on a damp cotton pad and used it to remove my eye makeup. I was afraid it would burn, but I didn’t experience any discomfort with this blend of jojoba, grape seed, and tea tree oil. I looked around the internet to make sure it was safe to apply around eyes and found that tea tree oil can be used to treat eyelash mites and may help lashes grow longer and stronger! Oh yeah, and it removed all traces of my eye makeup, too!

Subscribers received one of 5 different scents of Ellovi Body Scrub ($7.50). Right now Ellovi only sells two products and this one isn’t available yet. Each of their products is made with only 6 ingredients and this scrub contains sea salt, coconut oil, shea butter, French clay, palmarosa, and jasmine. I applied in the shower and had a hard time spreading it around but it did leave my skin moisturized. The shea butter has such a strong scent on its own and that is all that I smell. I think I will save this product for exfoliating my knees and elbows and not my whole body.

I really enjoyed my very first Petit Vour box! I loved trying new brands and new products from brands that I already adore. These items were very natural and of course, they follow the motto of Petit Vour: Be Bold. Be Kind. This month’s box had a value of around $30 which is double the cost of the box!
