The Blueberry Bourbon Jam is where I started first! It has less sugar added than regular jam, it certainly isn’t missing any of the taste!
The jam’s #1 ingredient is Blueberries! It also has a hint of Bourbon and Vanilla however that gave it a nice hint of flavor.
Spreading it showed that it was nice and thick due to the blueberry pieces inside the jar. It’s definitely a jam and not a jelly.
The next one I ventured into was the Drunken Monkey Spread. I’d never had a banana flavored spread before, but what an inventive way to include this fruit in a spread! I love banana desserts, so why not try it in a jam form?
This one had a splash of rum, while the previous had bourbon. No wonder I am a fan of this box! 😉 This one really was delicious and I look forward to trying it on things other than bread as it suggests in the back of the jar. Ice cream scoop here I come!
For those who like to count their calories, you can see…
…that a TBSP is only 40 of them, and worth every last one if you ask me!
The spread reminded me a bit of apple butter, but smoother, when I was spreading it onto my bread. It is yummy goodness for sure!
The Eliot’s Adult Espresso Nib Peanut Butter included was definitely all natural as I had to stir it up to mix the contents back up before I could use it. There are whole bits of Espresso beans in there, which make for a surprisingly good peanut butter.
This item has less than 1g of sugar, which makes it perfect for a low sugar snack.
The peanut butter had separated a bit when it arrived, but it quickly mixed back together in creamy goodness. It went on nicely on onto the bread and had a tasty coffee flavor kick to it.
Finally, the Bonne Mamman honey that came in the box was delightfully delicious. I know Bonne Mamman is a fantastic jam maker but had no idea they make honey as well.
The jar was sealed with a paper showing bees on them. What a cute little touch!
The wooden pourer included was very fun! I found the honey to be very tasty and I look forward to having it on biscuits soon.
Finally, putting all four together for a tasting was fun. You too could do this if you ordered a box for yourself, spouse or friend. Great for the foodie in your life who claims to have everything. My personal favorite of the bunch was the Drunken Monkey. This was very novel to me and I enjoyed it greatly.
