I love cookie baking at this time of year with my granddaughter. The house smells good and she usually runs some nice and warm cookies over to my parents (in their early 80’s) next door. It just makes everyone happy.
So when I opened this box and saw the 2 cookie cutters I just had to smile and think about what recipe I would use. But as the Encouragement Kit suggested if you’re not a baker you can use the cutters for various crafts. I liked the suggestion about attaching photos to the inside to create Christmas ornaments.
Sorry, I got off the topic of the theme which is gratitude but I just couldn’t help it, the cutters made me smile and think of things that I like. Back to the items about gratitude: mini-poster for your home, reminder sticker, and scripture card (Psalms 136:1).
What’s new this month is a Show Your Gratitude planning page. Being the anal person I am, I really like this – I like a well-planned life. Spontaneity is a foreign concept to me. So planning my gratitude will fit in with my life.
Speaking of planning my gratitude, this month’s encouragement kit is composed of 4 thank you cards and envelopes – it’s powerful in its simplicity.
