Nerd Block Jr is a subscription box for boys or girls ages 6-11 (you pick the box – boy or girl) that is a monthly surprise of fun little toys for kids. They’re part of the Nerd Block Family – check any of them out here. Since I have two boys, we get the boy box. However, we have gotten the girl one before and really liked it too. I love the new boxes and the bright green color and characters.
The boxes now include a shirt! We loved last month’s shirt and everyone was ready to see what they sent this month.
First look in the boy box for November. There isn’t much packaging to these as all the items are just in the box itself but with the pattern of the box, all the way through it still looks awesome!
DEAL: Save 15% on your first month with coupon code HelloSub16.
The information card provides a list of all the items included in the box.
Your little boy will surely love what Nerd Block Jr. for Boys has come up for next month: Star Wars, Plants vs. Zombies, and Iron Man.
Everything in the November 2016 box!
GIJoe T-shirt from Shirtpunch – Another fun shirt this month. The themes of the last two months have been a bit more retro themes which was so fun. I think the parents will love them just as much as the kids will. My youngest loves all action figures and he even has a couple hand-me-downs from my brothers that he loves to mix in with his new toys.
Despicable Me Minion Puzzle Tin ($4.99) – Two of my youngest son’s favorite things – puzzles and minions. Such a fun little puzzle that we put away for a rainy winter/fall day.
Star Wars Jedi in Training Apron ($17.99) – I was laughing so much when I saw this one since my youngest is also my little sous chef and with Thanksgiving coming up it will get put to great use.
National Geographic Kids ($4.99 each or you can get a year with 10 for $15) – I love magazines and getting them in actual print. I know it’s very old school but I still get a couple weekly that I read from cover to cover and I’m hoping this becomes one of those for my boys. There is just something about reading things on actual paper and not looking at it on a screen.
DC Batman Crew Socks ($15.80) – Does anyone else have boys that wear athletic socks up to their knees all year long? My oldest does and the brighter and more funky they are the better. These fit that category perfectly and will great with some completely random colored shorts with a no matching shirt. Yep, that is the way he rolls!
Ty Beanie Ballz Michelangelo ($4.75) – Kids never get too old for stuffed animals and when you add in a fun animated character it’s even better. This is really cute and already on my son’s shelf. In the boxes, kids got 1 of the 4 ninja turtles.
Fantastic Beasts & Where To Find Them Mini Calendar ($7.99) – I can not wait to see this movie and my boys, while not as enthusiastic, want to see it too. This will be hanging in my kitchen for next year. I can’t wait to see where these scenes fit into the movie and how it all ties into the wizarding world.
Draw your own Comic Books and Crayons – A Nerd Block exclusive and I’m not sure how they knew I had two boys but they are both very excited to have their own books. We love these kinds of activities and they love creating the stories. The inside has lots of open slots of different sizes so you can make a fun comic story.
There’s also a $10 coupon included when you purchase from ShirtPunch! Shirt Punch has shirts as low as $10 (shipping $6), so you can get a shirt around $6, which is an awesome deal.
Another great month for Nerd Block Jr.! We are fans of all the fandoms in this month’s box which is always super exciting. I like that they are sending a shirt each month now like the adult boxes get. It keeps my boys excited since they think they are getting a box just like mommy gets and that makes us all happy.
