All the creme to powder shadow colors! Some new shades were featured this month in the beauty section. Typically Julep will have a brand new beauty item launch, new seasonal colors, or something similar – Julep isn’t just nail polish.

Julep Eyeshadow 101 Creme-to-Powder Eyeshadow Stick in Copper Shimmer ($18) The shadow stick is double ended, and it always makes me happy to see that it’s paraben-free. The entire brand is something I feel comfortable recommending for teens.

I’m so excited about this color – it’s just so gorgeous and coppery and the fall shade is delicious – and the giant smudger is super great!

One swatch straight up, and the other smudged out.   It really applies smoothly and there are so many looks you can create with smudging and layered application. After you smudge it, it stays! You can also apply it with the smudger if apply the color somewhere else first and then load up the foam part.

Julep Oxygen Bonding Base Coat ($14) I really needed base coat, so I selected this item! I use Julep base coat all the time, and I like to always make sure I have a base coat on so my nails don’t stain and my color lasts longer.

Julep Nail Color ($14) I picked only one color, and it was a color that I absolutely had to have – Carrie Ann! It’s described as a blush sheer holographic and it has micro-holo particles in it and it’s perfect. If you’re not going red for holiday, do this.

It’s really impossible to see the full effect, but here’s a shot right after I did my nails!

And the official swatch! It’s just gorgeous – I totally recommend picking one up!

What did you pick in your Julep Beauty Box this month? I was really happy with my low key selections – easy party perfect beauty products that will keep me set all season long! I really loved the rest of the pretty colors (see them all here), but I was happy with my choices.

I didn’t need any eye shadow (and really don’t need nail polish, but that’s never stopped me!), so I picked the Voila! polish thinner, Mercedes (canyon rose metallic) and Keila (putty multidimensional holographic). Can’t resist the shiny things. The one you got looks pretty, too.

Oh, and the marble gold foil, too. Forgot I got that! Like I said, shiny things…
