The Broderi Box theme for 2017 has been announced – Stitch With the Stars! It’s a zodiac theme!
Full details below, but in short the entire year is now available (including bonus 13th box) for $365. I believe that the boxes will be available individually, but I warn you, it’s kind of a hassle. If you love stitching and this box, this is a great one to pick up!
The Complete Zodiac Collection
This is the all-inclusive membership to the complete year of the 2017 Zodiac Collection of Broderi Box! You will receive a shipment each month of 2017, packed with goodies to keep you guessing and in stitches year-round. This one-time payment includes all shipping and handling costs and alleviates the worry of having to purchase the next month’s box in advance. You will also receive special collection member coupons, as well as a “baker’s dozen” box at the end of the year that non-collection members will not receive. This offer ends December 1st, 2016.
2017 is the year of the Zodiac broderi box! Each month will highlight one of the Zodiac signs beginning in January with Capricorn. This year’s Broderi Boxes will contain over 65 threads, 20 of which were not used in the 2016 Collection! Each month’s collection is hand-selected to provide a tantalizing variety of textures and fibers. They include silks, wools, metallics, cottons, and more. Every month has a cool tool or finishing gadget.
There will also be an exclusive, members-only blog post for every box! P.S. (you must have internet capabilities to access this) This post will include a complimentary pattern that uses some of that month’s thread collection. This pattern may come from Nordic Needle archives or from one of the thread companies. The complimentary techniques are also varied, with topics such as Japanese Kogin, Goldwork, Swedish Sollerosom, and Brazilian embroidery. Lastly, you will learn a little bit about the astrological sign along with detailed information on how to use the threads and goodies.
While there are twelve signs in the zodiac calendar, there are actually 13 constellations that lie along the annual path of the sun across the sky. So for those who purchase the 2017 Collection, you will receive a thirteenth box FREE with your December shipment.

Thanks for the reviews – I agree that Nordic Needle is not properly promoting the subscription. I looked at their site for details of the 2016 boxes and came up empty handed. But, due to your reviews, am leaning towards a subscription 😉
Oh you’re welcome! They did extend the 2017 annual subscription to the end of this year. Otherwise I think they announced February already! One thing I have found is that traditional retail stores don’t always make the subscription transition perfectly but they eventually figure out something that works!!
