The Birchbox Limited Edition Cult Classics Box ($68) contains:

Shiseido White Lucent Power Brightening Mask ($11.33) This mask is a nice, thick cloth-like mask that takes just 10 minutes!

birchbox-limited-edition-cult-classics-november-2016-3

This mask is said to be inspired by iontophoresis (the practice of using electric currents to improve skin tone) and I don’t see how that translates into a mask but it was certainly refreshing and contains all sorts of botanical extracts to brighten and even skin tone.

Moroccanoil Treatment Original ($8.14) I can tell you right now that this box is full of favorites – this is my best friend’s absolute #1 favorite product out of anything she’s used, ever! She has thick curly hair and uses the entire product line. I know it’s pricey, so it’s totally going in her stocking.

Oribe Dry Texturizing Spray ($5.18) Definitely a classic, and still cult, because not everyone knows about this amazing texturizing spray! It’s one of my top choices, and smells so great. I use this as fast as I get it (or hoard it for special occasions!).

Laura Geller New York Baked Gelato Swirl Illuminator ($11.38) There ARE a lot of repeats in this box if you tend to frequent Birchbox, this isn’t the first nor the last! I received this in my June Birchbox, along with the Oribe (that was an amazing box!). It’s so pretty and luminous and glides right on and great for party season. I can’t fault Birchbox for putting favorites in their classics box.

beautyblender original ($20) I love all my Beautyblenders and while I tend to get them in a double pack for the free cleanser, this doesn’t avoid the fact that these puppies are $20, and 1/3 the cost of the box is covered! They help perfectly apply foundation, highlighters, concealer, anything. They are the best beauty innovation of the past 15 years! This would for sure go in a hall of fame box too!

Smith & Cult Nailed Lacquer in Pillow Pie ($18) You can’t beat the looks of this bottle!

birchbox-limited-edition-cult-classics-november-2016-9

I’m not a fan of using the full lid so I just slip off the silver part in order to paint my nails.

birchbox-limited-edition-cult-classics-november-2016-19

This polish is a beautiful ballet slipper pink, but it’s ultra-sheer and went on streaky. I had to use four coats! I didn’t have any hanging around my desk when I did my nails, but you can use white as a base coat to make an opaque base coat, although it would definitely take away that slightly translucent finish.

Elizabeth Arden Eight Hour Cream Skin Protectant ($22) This may be more classic than cult, but still, a full-size addition to a winter skin protecting arsenal! This balm is fragrance free, and is petrolatum based, and does include parabens.

Petrolatum 56.8%, Lanolin, Mineral Oil, Fragrance, Salicylic Acid, Propylparaben, Castor Oil, Corn Oil, Tocopherol, BHT, Iron Oxides

LOC One & Done Shadow Stick in Heavy Petal ($10) I love this and have it in my travel bag, because it’s such a versatile eye shadow and doesn’t budge, but I didn’t want to re-swatch so I could gift this one (perfect idea for extras!), so I’ve put a screen shot below of a previous swatch.

Benefit Cosmetics They’re Real! Lengthening Mascara ($8) I don’t get a huge amount of length with this mascara, but it seems to provide a lot more fullness to my lashes, so I like it, and the brush is easy to use.

TOCCA Crema da Mano in Bianca ($20 for 4oz) Yum! Love this rich citrusy scent and Tocca is definitely a cult pick. You can never go wrong with their beautiful scents.

Lipstick Queen Hello Sailor Lipstick ($25) Did you get this box for the blue lipstick? I did – it was a must-try for me!

birchbox-limited-edition-cult-classics-november-2016-14

I love the packaging on this box!

birchbox-limited-edition-cult-classics-november-2016-15

Yes, it’s blue! Obviously we all bought this because the novelty of blue lipstick is just too much to resist – I have been dying to try this out!

birchbox-limited-edition-cult-classics-november-2016-18

The top swatch is after about 5 minutes – the bottom I swatched on immediately before taking this picture.  This is more of a balm than a lipstick, and goes on sheer and is extra-emollient. I love the blue tones, they looked great with my skin tone, made my teeth look whiter, and I’ll probably use the entire stick!

Isaac Jacobs Acrylic Makeup Organizer ($31.50) I love this product so much I actually bought it 8 months ago. The rose gold and acrylic contrast was too perfect.

birchbox-limited-edition-cult-classics-november-2016-17

I have several work areas and keep this at my desk to hold the basics. Now that I have another I will have a matching one. This helps avoid the pile of lip balms, night creams, and hand creams that always seem to accumulate in my work space.

TokyoMilk Dark Tainted Love Eau de Parfum (about $10?) Oh this is so good, as are every single one of the Margot Elena family of brands’ scents! It’s sweet and delicious, but with enough of a dark side that it’s not saccharine – dark vanilla bean, white tea, sandalwood, and sweet orchid compose the main notes.

I liked the Cult Classics Box quite a bit! Not everything was a hit for me, and as I mentioned, there were some repeats, but with $175+ value there were more than enough items to keep me happy! There were some major scores here and if you haven’t tried most of these items, I would definitely recommend it – or if you want to restock!

Add a Mystery Sample Pack before you check out! Here’s what I received in mine!

Beauty Protector Beauty Cream ($2.29)

Coastal Scents Formal Eyes Eyeshadow ($3)

I love the scent of Beauty Protector! I was happy to get it in a moisturizer!
