My box was shipped from Canada and was securely wrapped in plastic and had customs stickers on the outside. Everything on the inside looked great and was tucked into white paper squiggles.
Everything in the box! As I removed the products from the box I did a happy dance. The products in this premiere box looked great! I received 6 products in the October box including products for the face, body, nails, and hair.
I love it when companies let you know what you got! Plus, it tells you how you can share your box on social media and win products.
I love eye creams but the Touch Me Skin Care Cool as a Cucumber ($22.99) was a bit difficult to spread at first. I ended up kind of pushing it around under my eyes but eventually it went where it was supposed to go. It is very emollient and has aloe, shea butter, and sweet almond oil. I actually preferred it as a very rich hand cream!
Josie & Hue The White Clay Mask ($28 CAD, about $21.28 U.S. Dollars) is a nourishing and firming mask that has kaolin and bentonite clay, cucumber peel, and coconut milk powder and can be customized to your skin by adding water or another liquid such as honey, hydrosol, yogurt, or oils like grapeseed, almond, or sesame. My daughter gave it a try and said it left her skin feeling clean and refreshed without drying her out.
Yarok Feed Your Shine Hair Serum Shine Drops ($27.20) is a blend of sesame and coconut oils and essential oils with an earthy scent that absorbs quickly and protects hair from the damaging effects of hot tools.
I love Deco Miami nail polishes and the shade Tied Down ($12.50) is a deep oxblood red, perfect for fall and winter. This product is vegan and 8-free, plus it will look adorable on my dresser!
Sudsatorium is an Etsy shop that offers products that look a LOT like Lush products. Their items are fair-trade, organic, vegan, and cruelty-free, plus they donate to grassroots charities. Sudsatorium Candy Floss Lip Scrub ($6.21) has sugar and evening primrose oil and smells like cotton candy! I rubbed it over my lips and then rinsed (you can lick it off, too) and my lips were left soft and moisturized. Loved it!
Make sure to try joeSCRUB Coffee Scrub ($14) in your shower because it is MESSY! It came with a little wood spatula but I simply tipped it over into my hands and then scrubbed away. It says this can be used on the face but I preferred it as a body scrub. It was sort of like rubbing damp coffee grounds all over, except there was a hint of jasmine scent, too (I wonder if they have a hazelnut option?). My body felt smooth and moisturized after using this mixture of coffee, cacao, Himalayan salt, brown sugar, and oils. Good clean (and dirty) fun!
I was blown away with this debut box from S&G Beauty! My box had a value of $104.18, which is four TIMES the subscription price! Not only that, but the products were effective, cruelty-free, and vegan (although I couldn’t find any wording that says this is a vegan or cruelty-free box). I enjoyed trying my new finds from a variety of beauty categories and can’t wait to see if this box continues to be this awesome in the coming months!
